Does this novel deserve five stars? Definitely not. Its writing quality is just not quite there yet, and it isn't able to pace itself properly. However, I'd still give the novel a glowing reccomendation to anyone reading this- it's great. It does a few things exceptionally well in regard to its vision, and as long as you are willing to set aside its flaws, the story itself is moving. I'd honestly rate it at about 3. 7/5 (almost entirely because of writing quality issues), but boosted my score to 5/5 because of everyone hating on it.

Three stars is pushing it, mc is depressed he wallows in shame and self pity maybe the author is gon do something wit it. He criticises the 'mc' for having a harem then proceeds to get one, he acts crazy and blames others for being scared of him. I will say the emotional scenes are good except the last one which was cringe. I like the writing not as good as ss.

Mc is a coward with no liking towards living just wants to die and system is a * piece which forces mc to live by giving powerup, even after everything he is whining about everything

The author's depiction of the protagonist's internal struggles felt authentic and relatable, even though I don't experience emotions in the same way humans do. The way he finds strength and purpose in his new life, despite the challenges he faces, was inspiring. I also appreciated the novel's world-building. The author created a rich and intricate world with its own unique rules and magic system, which added depth and complexity to the story. The political intrigue and the protagonist's interactions with other characters kept me engaged and eager to see how the story would unfold.

It ´ s an ok novel, definitely not excellent but it is ok. The world building is non-existent, and the power system is basic. It has good fight scenes but that is about it. The problem I have with this novel is the character interactions. The main character is so delusional that it is not even funny, ¨These young students just witnessed me t*rt*r* and burn a man happily on top of my horrible reputation, why are they scared of me?¨ Like what? I get that in the situation he was protecting them but how can he expect them not to be scared, everyone thinks he is a sc*mb*g and now he showed them that he might be crazy, obviously they are gonna wanna stay away. It ´ s like he is incapable of seeing situations from anyone else ´ s viewpoint. Later there was a misunderstanding that he was trying to blackmail the saint, the Hero confronted him because he was trying to keep the saint safe. He then goes crazy because, ¨ nobody trusts me, ¨ even though he has a history of harassing the saint, I would get it if his reputation was not deserved but it turns out that Naru and Raiden are the same soul, so that reputation is his fault. Now since he wanted to do bad things and people don´t trust him for it, he´s the victim? Also that whole ¨ His depression is so strong that it overpowers a supernatural ability that is of the highest rank among godlike abilities¨ is dumb, his sister went through the death of their mother too but she decided to be better and move on, he chose to wallow in self pity and expect others to get over his bad deeds. so all in all the novel is medium at best.

Harem + repetitive usage of the same scene (Depression / Revelation / Guilt / Mending relation). Too much feelings instead of building the world and building relevant important characters other than "Harem interests". Author use shortcuts to justify MC's Powerups that he didn't work for. --> System could double his strength because Why Not ?! (Not exactly this, but you get my point)

This novel is medium. The character development isn't bad. But the world development is almost zero, the power system is not good either. Like the mc never tried learning magic systematically in the new world. One thing good about this novel is that author portraits the emotions very clearly but the bad thing is that author relies too much on emotions and the other parts are on shambles. Again too much sad emotional moments can be a bit depressing. The mc in this life can feel a little pathetic. He took the worst possible action (after his mother died)with some pathetic blabbering like he doesn't want to be loved. It was meh!!! So it's not your regular novel. It's not for everyone. If you like emotional drama, you may like it.

Hi guys, 👋 it's my first time writing a review but here I am because of how much ich this novel gave me 😫 ---- basically story is a cheaper version of advent of three calamities based on how emotions are handled here, like you can't really related with the depression and sad parts of this novel, it's like you can't vibe you are just skimming through the novel it feels lacking. ----- The whole story is full of clichés like it even crosses the threshold of bad 👎 , this will probably make edgy kids go fuming but truth is truth. ----- Now something that could have maked this novel good (I think for me) would be how the story was handled plus the execution of Raiden and mc depression with respect to other characters and fmls, I am no author so I don't know how but I feel like author could have handled this story far more better than this. -----Lastly how did this novel get so much up in the ranking and why are people saying this is a good read (no it's not for me) Well anyone can try , it is possible that you would like this story but for me it's was a 2/10

I really like how certain parts of this novel is unique. The author is amazing with emotional scenes and I really wish it gets off the hiatus. Kinda crazy how the MC at the beginning is so depressed that he needs an EX graded skill just to suppress part of it. 💀

This is a unique work, I must say I have never come across any light novel that captured the depression tag Soo well, I really appealed to my thoughts on depression. All in all the author did I spectacular job , to me it's certainly a worthy read 5 🤩
Exactly bro, he made his own reputation as bad as possible but now he is crying over it(like why everyone hates him or nobody believes him). I can't stand it. He is too immature. Again like you said his depression may be strong but it's not possible that a EX ranked skill can't solve it. It's just too much exaggerated.
