wait so I thought at begining friends were kinda bad cause mc will just out grow them as talent can grow but that seems to not be the case? and they stick with him the whole novel? like how? dead weight? or stupid random power ups? mc gives them power ups? author? legit how?

continuation of my earlier comment…Spoiler Alert klaus… ik his character is supposed to be that way but man he irritates me so much. like okay you’re the “fun guy” of the group. we get it but would it kill you to not say bullshit every time you open your mouth? and alice’s whole persona is based on two things- 1) she likes fighting and beating people up and 2) threatens to beat people up.

i feel like just to add comic relief to the story the author has made the characters really dumb. like there are jokes and many situations that are supposed to be funny but i’m just finding them hella annoying. there are many situations where i’m just cringing at what’s happening. (i’m at ch 200) i like the underlying plot and the concept of the cultivation system but this could srsly be so much better if the characters were a bit smarter and the cliche jokes would be less. also i gotta mention smth i found annoying Spoiler Alert there’s a situation where the mc doesn’t kill some ppl because “he’s not in the mood to kill. ” like what?! and he doesn’t even know why and his frnds just accept it like “oh it happens sometimes” srsly?!!

Can anyone explain the cultivation levels without spoilers

I gonna give my opinion after reading until chapter 780. You can find Mc annoying specially in first chapters but he becomes less annoying when you keep reading. The novel isnt the best but is decent specially if you want to binge read something. The worst thing of this novel in my opinion is Klause personality

After chapter 220s it goes down hill. It's becomes slow as hell. MC is a naive fool. Side characters especially Klause is most annoying, i mean same lame jokes again and again. Alice character is just lacking in every sense. Sometimes it get so cringy. I mean after 3 years of training in academy mc and his friends are naive piece of fu*king shit. Instead of maturing after going through so much trouble MC and side Characters become more and more dumb. That's it I can't take this shit anymore i m out. Note- I would like to thank author for giving initial decent chapter. I really hope in future work you make character grow through out the novel not just write same cringe dialogu.

Meh story is cool but mcs personality is just too bad for me
