Summary

      It would be better to start at chapter 107.( The Anime and novel is too different for chapter 108) or you might get confused.

      If you want officially, check amazon or bookwalker. Reading the light novel online is a bit harder due to it being licensed by J-Novel

    Poison taste test: If you liked the anime adaptation you’ll like the webnovel. Main story is from 1-179 and was great. I was looking forward to these after stories but they are more like side stories than an epilogue. Might stop here at chapter 209, but id definitely give the main story a read.

      Its was completed 4-5 years ago. Chapters 1-179 are your main story. Everything else is after story. There is some great stuff there too. This site is missing 40 chapters, present chapter Arifureta 487 February 25, 2024.

        The Author is just having fun. There are some really great stories. In the Travel Arc, they bring all to Harems Moms and Dads to Tortus and experience Hajime Journey. It is really good stuff. You have a story are on a non Harem member clearing a dungeon, funny stuff. Date Night with the Broke Rabbit. Just some stuff, when you do not want to read a whole story that you can chill for an hour on, and come back later.

        Never said it was bad that there were so many after story chapters but there's no reason to make it an after story if it's longer than the actual story. That's like if I released a video game with 5 hours of playtime and then had DLC that had 500 hours of content. I just don't get it.

    I’ve been waiting since the site was attacked and all the chapters for a bunch of novels were removed for the chapters to be added back to this but it’s been so long that I’ve honestly just given up on ever getting to read them again.

      i checked it, idk if they missed many chaper (higher possibility thing) or something happen, anyways you need to start from chapter 1 after the end of volume. it gonna spoil you, so I suggest you to check another site.or chapter 94.

      So if we talk about light novel: the second anime season ended with light novel vol 6. So u would have to start with vol 7. If we talk about the Webnovel, that’s what u find on this site, read the comment above yours (no guarantee tho). I would recommend reading the light novel, just because it’s more complete. Better Grammen, no typos, pictures now and then etc.(in general the Webnovels are raw versions and the light novel are the complete ones, with proofreading and stuff). AND I would recommend to read the whole thing, cause just like somebody already commented: the anime doesn’t do the book justice.

    I love it how the 17 year old actually struggles with the Harem concept. It isn’t obvious enough in the anime but it takes him a lot time to accept that he can actually love and desire more than one person. And it’s not him arranging the Harem but Yue and the others just doing whatever the f*ck they want 🤣

      In the afterstory travel arc I forget the number chapter but he (hajime/ author) gives a decent reason why he finally accepted shia. Stated that because he was so obsessed over getting home and actually basically like panicking the whole time he didn't have room in his heart, when he got the compass from the sea of trees dungeon and sensed Japan and was told concretely he could create concept magic to cross worlds when he had all the age of gods magics he had room in his heart. Also due to the love hate swap in the last trial he really understood just how much he actually cared about shia and it was just a snowball to the others from there. Which can logically make sense
