It is true that the weapon is part of nature, since the materials belong to it, but just like a current sculpture, and taking the phrase of some famous sculptors: I see the sculpture inside the stone and I only worry about outlining it. By this I mean that in the end it requires human will to forge the weapon, and in the same way it requires will to wield it, as everything requires will, even moving the arm, only the effort is so minimal that you won't notice it. . The body is a medium for oneself to experience and interact with this reality, but a medium of what? Whether it is mind, consciousness or something else, it is inevitable to see how the will is part of or is intimately linked to us (and by us I do not mean the body) with this "dao weapon" being a DAO and having all the daos an interrelation leads me To think about how the DAO represents a specific way of how the will interacts with reality, let's take the sword, the complex movements are made up of the basic ones, and as we see in the novels at the end of everything it returns to those basic movements but each movement although it also seems to bear the registered signature of the person who carries the sword and performs said movement. The DAO is yang, oneself is yin and the will is the third component that allows the relationship between yin and yang, which produces movement and great strength despite being basic movements. I loved the idea of this novel regarding the DAO and seeing how it is a monogamous MC who does not hesitate when it comes to fighting and killing, I have no complaints about this work, I just wish it were interspatial and more cultivation levels, although It's not over yet and maybe there are surprises. PS: I felt the need to express my thoughts, put yours if you want so we can help each other understand.

Im afraid this novel follows in the footsteps of many once-promising Xianxia novels. From chapter 1 to chapter 50 this was a truly great start, 9/10, great characters, compelling story, well written. Chapter 51-100 faltered a little, but was still a solid 7/10, yes the fighting scenes were needlessly long and yes some plot points required the benefit of the dount an incredible amount, but ultimately the story was still compelling, the pace was steady, it was still a worthy novel. Then after chapter 100, and more severely after chapter 150, things start to fall apart, the author starts making incredible leaps of logic, characters start to behave erratically in service of the general direction of the plot over consistency, and the pacing grinds to a halt. This is just another case of an author having a really cool premise to follow at the starr, but once they pass that first prompt and have to start writing multiple new chapters a week without any real plan they just cant keep up the quality of the work. Its really a shame.

Splendid story. MC is cunning and his plots and schemes are very intriguing. The author has done a fantastic job of building up a cultivation world with well thought out political power structure. The moral aspect of the story is also very thought provoking and the characters are likable. This definitely one of the best cultivation novels I have read and I highly recommend it.

Really good cultivation novel, gives us a good world building where we want to learn more about it. Good plot, not an overly OP mc just because he gets a legacy, plus a really good cultivation system where even when it looks simple we get to learn more and more. Cultivation feels genuine as characters really have to take time to advance instead of just advancing 4 grand realms in one go. Recommend for sure

Absolutely fantastic. Great world building, phenomenal pacing, and characters with actual dimensions in a Chinese work? I'm genuinely amazed. Not only that but the world so far is consistent with knowledge given to the reader and how characters interact within it! The characters are bound by actual "laws" they have to abide by as "living" things within the story and not something changed for writing convenience. The main character is actually intelligent, not just apparently smart because the author says so. Secondary characters that in any other story would just be throwaway villain's for a cheap plotline aren't! They have legitimate motivations, and don't simply do something for the sake of moving the story forward! The main character also isn't uber powerful compared to his peers right off the bat, not even the whole "oh I must hide because I am not actual that strong Tee-Hee!" as they always beat every single "opponent" given to them because no one actually stronger than them shows up in any actual capacity stupidity. As of chapter 54, the main character has barely been able to actual start to cultivate! For once the cultivation itself isn't the entire story but just a piece of a greater whole! An actual plot device used along side everything else as a cohesive narrative! It feels so, so rare that a Chinese work has any actual substance to itself, let alone a story of actual quality. So far? Bravo!

One of the better translated cultivation novels. Not only does the main character actually know how to use his brain, but the side characters are smart too. They aren't the generic young masters who court death but they have schemes and are rational. Of course, there are characters whose only purpose is to be slaughtered and crushed but there haven't been too many of them so far. One of the most surprising things in the story is the amount character development for one of the dumb and cowardly young masters. The author actually spent the time to make the young master learn from his mistakes and become a person befitting of their status. 5/5 so far.
