Chapter 66: Weren’t You Holding My Hand Just Now?

Jian Qi found it funny being dragged by Tang Jinyu. “What are you doing?”

“We are going to the hospital right now!” Tang Jinyu glared at her. “How can you not know that you have been drugged…”

“Qiqi… Jian Qi…” Chu Yuhan’s voice stopped Tang Jinyu.

Tang Jinyu knew that something was wrong. He wanted to drag Jian Qi along and leave, but instead she dragged him to a corner.

“You—” Jian Qi immediately covered his mouth before he could say anything.

“Qiqi? Where are you, Jian Qi? Jian Qi!”

Chu Yuhan’s voice that was initially gentle became more and more frustrated.

Tang Jinyu’s face darkened. He pulled her hand away from his mouth, trying to drag her along so that they could leave, but Jian Qi held onto his hand and ran in the opposite direction to follow after Chu Yuhan.

Chu Yuhan stopped at the gate and looked around. She stomped the ground in frustration.

‘How could I let her run away!’

Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly felt that something was off, she felt as if her body was burning up and she was getting slightly dizzy.

“Where is the person you talked about?” A plump guy walked up to her.

Chu Yuhan shook her head trying to keep herself awake.

“I’m sorry Mr. Chen. She ran away. We can do this again next time. I’m in a hurry, I’ll need to leave first…” Chu Yuhan wanted to leave after saying so.

“Don’t leave. Since she’s not around, why not you accompany me instead. Isn’t it the same? Don’t you want to be an actress? Accompany me tonight and I’ll have them bring you to see the crew tomorrow…” The man said while he tried to grab her by her hips.

Chu Yuhan pushed him away but she realized that she did not have the strength to do so.

The man smiled deviantly. “Let’s go…”

“Let go of me…” Chu Yuhan tried to push him away but she had lost all her strength, and she even had to lean on the man for support.

She was going to bring Jian Qi to him instead of herself. How could she stand being seen together with a disgusting man like this.

Chu Yuhan wanted to run, but she was instantly pulled back by the man. He dragged her to the car and they immediately left.

Tang Jinyu walked out of the corner and gazed at Jian Qi. “You knew.”

“Knew what?” Jian Qi asked.

“That she tried to drug you.”

“No. I didn’t know anything. I just learned a lesson and knew that she was up to no good the moment she tried to apologize.”

Tang Jinyu instantly knew that this girl had learned much more than just one lesson when he saw that she was able to keep calm.

“Were you worried about me when you said that I need to go to the hospital?” Jian Qi smirked.

Tang Jinyu did not respond. He turned around and left.

“Where are you going?” Jian Qi followed him with a bright smile.

“Leave me alone!”

“Weren’t you holding my hand just now? Now that you have taken advantage of me, are you going to just ignore me?” Jian Qi made a face, as if she had been wronged.

“I’m sad.”

Tang Jinyu huffed in response, ignored her and walked away.

“We’ll meet again real soon, trust me!”

It would be better if they did not meet again, because it seemed that every time they met, that woman would surely have some crazy ideas.
