I was sceptical. But in the end, my instincts proved wrong. This novel while beiing just a light read, managed to pass across many a deep message and feeling. Invigorating, fresh, entertaining. 14/10 points for me. Only thing that could improve, is the proofreading/editing/translating. Seldom misspelling, sometimes a missing word, and so on. Otherwise, If this was a paperback book? I’d buy.

Really good story, good progression and plot. Really like it, recommended.

More details(may contain spoilers):

Most characters behave realistically, which for me is a big plus, I don't like "dumb" characters. The plot, although not very original, has its unique twist, this case beeing that the mc got reincarnated into an... ANT. I cANT rANT enough about how good this story is.

Now onto the plot. The substories(the first one beeing finding the rest of the nest) are made really well and the time between these doesn't feel boring nor does the story itself feel too forced, although some characters are-to put it lightly-slightly abnormal. This doesn't make it worse in my opinion, as there are stupid people in out world as well. I won't exemplify to start a discussion but yeah.

The world building is also done really well, stuff is beeing shown slowly and I specially like the little snippets of world (and also lore) building that the author puts at the Beggining of some chapters.

Overall a really good story, read it, you'll (most likely) enjoy it.

Surprising extremely good. Great world building, characters, and a fun story. It never really tries to take itself too seriously always keeping a light hearted story. Overall this is a 5/5.

It's a very good story, being honest I didn't expect it, I thought it was going to be kind of a copy of "Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?" However, even though in the first chapters it is somewhat similar, it manages to remain original, the differences of the system and other particularities create another environment.

Being more personal, I prefer this protagonist over another who "reincarnate in monsters", his acceptance is much better, even generating some doubts about what he was like in his past life.
É uma estoria muito boa, sendo sincero não esperava, achei que ia ser meio que um copia de "Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?". Porem mesmo que nos primeiros capítulos seja um pouco parecido, ele consegue se manter original, as diferenças do sistema e outras particularidades cria um outro ambiente.

Versão em português:
Sendo mais pessoal, prefiro este protagonista do que outro que "reencarnam em monstros", a aceitação dele é muito melhor, gerando ate algumas duvidas minhas em relação a como ele era em sua vida passada.

If my past self could see a glimpse of the future, he wouldn't believe that this person would support and love a group of monsters who can possibly be a great catastrophe for humans. I always read novels and other literatures with a point of view of humans eradicating monsters. With that, I was able to develop a narrow way of thinking that monsters are always evil. If I we're part of the Legion, I could possibly be enjoying killing those monstrous ants. That's why I find it really frustrating. The beliefs and strength of humans stems from their incapability to save their family members once killed by monsters. It is difficult to change that narrow way of thinking. Who am I to blame?

This novel really opened my eyes to see both sides and determine whether the 'good' I believed is really the 'good' that should be believed. The sayings that 'you have to choose what you seem to be a right choice' and 'what right for you may not be right for others' support the lesson that the novel wanted to portray.

Perhaps the greatest light novel I've ever read, a delight with a perfect mix of action, drama and comedy. I would highly recommend giving it a go, I couldn't put it down.

already read til latest chap, and all I can say is, this is one of my favorite novels. Mc and most of the characters here is just loveable! (I adore the Mother Queen Ant ugh.) The interactions between the humans and other species, the familial relationship with the colony and them tryna survive and the POV's showing each perspective of the characters about the situation and what they think of the colony are just so interesting! I also appreciate the little history things before the start of the chapter, gives more insight about the world Mc is in. cannot wait for more chapters!

All I can say that this is my FIRST novel and BEST novel. I'm so happy to find this while flipping through pages just to FIND good novels but all are none my interest and most are cringey and because I already know what would be the outcome. This novel makes me curious of the outcome because it sometimes he do things differently that I predict and sometimes when I get bored of reading it uploads a chapter with comedy and I love it and made me keep moving. Also I'm very excited to see the outcome of this legion vs ants ARK(or was it ARC?). All in all this is the best novel and I recommend this to you guys.

One of the best kingdom building novels ive ever read. And this is my first non-humanoid Mc. The MC is not perfect but he is good in raising his race. The POVs are awesome!

Let me tell you. This is easily in the top 3, if not the very best novel on this, or the many other sites I have read on. I won't go into much details, but if you read it, or even if you only read the other comments you will understand.

One of the best novels on the site. No spoilers, but story development is fairly fluid and makes sense. I genuinely love this book. There are a few moments where it slows down, but it quickly picks up the pace again within a couple chapters. Only thing holding it back is the release schedule

This is a pretty fun read, the dungeon system and setting are very unique and I'm always a fan of stories about returners evolving through monster forms. Also, as is always vitally important, the main character is never really overpowered; a main element of the story is how outgunned he (she technically cause ants) is at any given moment. Anthony is constantly blown up, lacerated, or has his guts knocked out, only surviving by the skin of his mandibles. It also has interesting interactions between monsters and humans, a vital element in a story about a human soul in a monster body.

I very much recommend this story to anyone looking for something a little bit different from the usual isekai novel

Very nice and with the right amount of everything with a system. Could add more human encounters. And also less grinding and killing monsters just show what type of monster and get back to more story.

I love stories like this that offer a different experience because we all have experienced the stories of transmigrators being reborn in a world where they are the chosen ones but stories like this where we instead focus on the typical "antagonists" in this case monsters are really few and far between and to say this one of the best novels I read is an understatement.
I really recommend this novel for anyone looking for something different.
