There’s a lot of political stuff which is not my thing so I almost lost interest but I still gave it a chance. Thus, I finally got to an exciting part. However, the translation became bad, still I persisted until I can’t take it anymore so I stopped reading around chapter 180. Overall it’s ok, if you like a brave intellectual mc & politics then this story is for you!

Warning: This story is DEFINITELY NOT for everyone and has not so good translation. . . but I loved it! (It's best to read my full review) A smart FL that uses her fkng brain and doesn't get kidnapped or anything like that. It portrays my image of a smart 21st century woman in a medieval Europe setting. So why I wouldn't I love this? I'm not knowledgeable in anything included in this story yet somehow I could understand the motives, movements and decisions of every character's actions in a given situation. They have unique characteristics that makes it easier to remember and differentiate their roles. And about character development? Yes, of course. You'd see it, if you read. I'm feeling a little conflicted with the low rating because I felt it like deserves better. If you're not liking the story after reading the whole thing then I cannot blame you and accept your opinion because everyone has a freedom of speech. I just hope people would only rate AFTER reading all the chapters :)

If you're into territory development or territory progress, this novel did a very great job at it. However, in my opinion, emotional development or storyline in this story is not as strong as the development plotline. Maybe it's due to a lot of time skips, but there really isn't any emphasis on what Iris is feeling.

She does a lot of thinking and that's nice to know that, yet her feelings aren't written or implied as much her economic prowess. Because of this, wherever there's an emotional scene with her and ml I just found it to be unsatisfactory. Where ever she has an outburst of emotion I just found them awkwardly stuck into the story instead of well integrated it to the story, for the sake of creating somewhat of an emotional attachment between her and ml.

So far, I like how Yuri is written to be what's more than meets the eye. I think the multiple POV is nice, detailed explanation of the territory development is also a good addition.

Reading this as well, it made me think that this story is better suited to be told using manga instead of novel.

This is my assessment so far that I've read up to CHP 60.

The plot was quite interesting. The growth of FL and how peopel in her territory loved her. The characters of FL mother and her military prowess. longing of FL ML both was endearing.
But the typo and word arrangemen sometimes made quite it a bit difficult to understand.

Overall it's a good read.

This is such an wonderful work that I think just words wont be enough to praise it. I totally found myself in the FL. Just like her I also gone through "cheating" and "betrayal" from the people I called my second family, who surprisingly turn their backs on me. Although I admit I was lovesick and was too blinded by my feelings that doesn't give them the right to do that to me. And eventually like the FL I also shut my heart and my emotions... so that it doesn't get in the way when I make decisions and to "protect" myself from getting hurt again. I lost my will to move on and was living in circles, I also lost the thing called "hope". But on chapter 89, I learned that I was unconsciously thinking "method" and "goal" as the same thing. I think I now finally be able to move on. I want to give the author my deepest respect and gratitude. The author might think I'm over praising but you just saved my life, me from dying with regrets because I already died before my body did. Thank you very much. Even if there is still no one I truly trust right now but... I'm sure I will meet them in due time^^

Now at Chapter 6 and I found myself annoyed with the redundant conversations in multiple POVs. Must be because of character intros. Hopefully, the story gets better.

why would you be annoyed with that? I found it extremely enlightening that the author decided to write such a wonderful way to help us see things from many different viewpoints. Well, unless you are here "only" for entertainment purpose then I guess it's natural for you to feel that way. Since unlike you I'm here to learn and the entertainment part is like a bonus. This is a wonderful work and deserves full rating in my opinion.

If you're into diplomacy and territory development, this is a great novel, especially with its feminine POV.
