What does this author have with shoulders and collarbones? Like man this and literally just the bone, it's not even made of flesh, the shoulder like, and one shoulder I can't explain, I know not to judge the culture and etc, but I must say I'm fed up with jade skin, exquisite collarbone, beautiful shoulders, what the hell can't describe beauty in a more original way and less in a way like a piece of meat or stone, like the hell someone's skin will look like Jade, like if someone has skin like Jade it won't be pretty, you can be sure moreover what would be an exquisite shoulder and collarbone like exquisite and something careful and perfect in detail, like that sculpture and exquisite to see muscle fibers.

You're not meant to take 'jade skin' literally. It's a metaphor. You obviously can't literally have 'jade skin'. Jade and any other gem would be considered beautiful to many people, so saying someone has jade skin means they have beautiful skin.

but that's the point, it doesn't make sense to say that the skin is jade if the skin is beautiful, just say it's beautiful and that's it, the thing is that sometimes they say the skin is translucent too, translucent bro, you can see the live muscles, like saying the skin looked soft and etc, you don't have to keep this boring jade skin thing all the time

Do you know what a metaphor is?

I know what a metaphor is, but a metaphor that is used over and over again unnecessarily is not just another metaphor and becomes an adjective.

It's not really that deep. It is just a common metaphor. I don't get how 'jade skin' doesn't make sense to you when you know what a metaphor is.

and more or less because I'm bored and being annoyed with these repetitive metaphors, so I wondered what the hell happened to jade skin becomes a metaphor for something good, Then I commented on it.

You're right though. It does get repetitive and boring seeing it everywhere.

well, i must say that this novel is nothing new at the beginning, and the same thing as any and every cultivation novel, well i guess i'm expecting a lot from a ranking novel, but even the attitude of belittling a woman like "if I can't ambush a woman then I should be dead by now" or "how can a woman be so strong?" Like I'm not militating, but seeing this thing in almost every cultivation novel already makes anyone pissed off.

It's in the context of ancient times when women were not treated as equal to men. Sexism is a common theme in cultivation novels because almost all of them are set in ancient times. The sexism and belittling of women isn't reflective of the author, it is reflective of the time period.

Not so much, read "Paragon of Sins", then you'll see that more by the author than by the period.

You're both kinda wrong and right at the same time, Just solely based on the fact that cultivation exists there should be no difference between male or female, because in ancient times the reason that women were often treated as commodities to be sold off for manage and so on was because they contribute less than men as men have higher physical strenght, but in cultivation society their strenght is based on their aptitudes so there should be absolutely no gender oppression there, because by oppressing a gender you are unknowingly offending half a population of cultivators who can kill with just a slap.
