I have re-read this so many times. The story and plot is interesting and straight to the point without repeating. Short chapters so its easy read without dragging the storyline.
It is really good and i have read the manga version but it is not very detailed. In the novel it is really detailed so it amazing. But i am wondering why is the manga version so slow at updating
Good and enjoyable read for the most part. Story progression drops off heavily around the midway point but does pick back up during the later parts. A good story plot though a lack of any real subplots.
The magic system is one of my favorites and is pretty easy to understand even if the mc breaks the rules and balance.
The worst part is the characters... You have some great characters like Rong Rong but then you have horrible characters like Xiao Wu. And it almost exclusively follows Tang San's journey of which is alright but its a bit to tunnel visioned on him and his lover that some of the major characters lack development. Out of the main 7 only 4 really get any development. Tang San being the main character gets the most followed by Xiao Wu then Rong Rong and Oscar. The other three are pushed aside for a lot of the time. Fatty and Dai get some development but Zhuzhu is fully shafted from the story so much that despite being a member of the main group shes only there as a minor driving point for Dai.
Other then those issues its a good read

Its not actually complete. Chapter 330 is near the end but not the end. It goes up to chapter 336
