Eternal Sacred King

One of the best lore drops, backstory, plot and world building in this novel. However, the cliches, plot armor, etc. . . are just like any other cultivation novel. Throughout the novel there were times where it was repetitive, and to be honest, there was a lot of BS that happens to the MC. I could skip a lot of chapters here and there and I still wouldnt miss out on anything big. But compared to other novels, this novel gives me a lot of adrenaline and excitement

I truly love this, although sometimes boring, but I love the progression of the story, no unnecessary dwindling and I also love how every single mystery was explained at the end. I really enjoyed it.

Not bad, initially it was somewhat annoying in few chapters at starting but as the story progresses it gets quite good. Although there are some thick plot, and some chapter seems too much plot, just try to ignore and keep on reading. It wasn't much of a big issue. I binge read it and from my experience it was good.

Wonderful novel. ~3380 chapters, read very well, and everything always seemed to have happened for a purpose. It has a happy ending and a wonderfully fleshed-out cultivation system. The battle scenes are amazing, and the relationships are well-developed. Plot twists add a lot of variety and enjoyability to the reading experience, but there is a lot of plot armor for the MC, but in my opinion, it makes sense. The story is about him and his unending journey to stand up against stronger foes who seek the destroy what he holds dear. I'd give the story 6 stars if I could.

Decent cultivation flick with a boneheaded MC that has pride without the strength or smarts to back it up. Also a better title would be Eternal Luck King, there are way too many instances of the MC giving up on life and getting saved by plot armor. Not even the good kind of awakening a secret power by refusing to give up. Homie gives up and says “well im dead” atleast once every 20 chapters. A nice overall 4. 0 rating for would be what i give it. As nobody actually reads anything under 4. 0 so it does deserve atleast that much.

I'm going to be honest. This book is kinda above average but that's only because of the fight scenes. It's much better than just one shotting an opp and there isn't random old guys saying "courting death!" There is an unhealthy amount of plot armor and insane luck. Though, I do understand that cultivation does require some luck. Still, it's insane. And this mc needs to tone it down. My guy doesn't stand down to anyone. Nice mindset, but it gets to be a boring read when there isn't much of a character development. overall, not too bad. it can be used to read when bored or just waiting for chs

As a person who read the entire novel I can say this is one of my favourite novel. The fight scenes are especially good but the later part of the story is extremely rushed. I am not sure from which chapter but nearly 2800 or so but still this is one of tge best ones till 2800 or 3000 chps ( total 3380 chps)

Great novel. Extremely decisive main character that doesn't f*ck around. He will take any and every chance to kill his enemies. One of the things I like about this novel is that the MC's body cultivation actually feels like it makes his body strong. I've read plenty of Xianxia where the MC does body cultivation but there doesn't seem to be any obvious benefit. Not here. Later on the MC turns people into meat paste with his bare hands. He crushes their heads, pierces their chests, he even sometimes destroys their weapons. The novel emphasises a difference between cultivators who specialise in melee combat and ones that don't and they take different tactics to defeat, however the MC has remained pretty much invincible in melee combat throughout the novel and it's very satisfying seeing the main character deal with enemies he probably shouldn't be able to by forcing them to engage with him in his playing field. Also no harem. MC is devoted to one person even if others love him.

Absolutely love this novel. Imo it’s one of the best chinese cultivation novels out there. Well thought out power system, fleshed out characters, as well as an interesting plot line. Usually get bored after 1-2k chapters of a book but I genuinely found myself hooked despite reading around 2400 chaps. First book I’ve ever read MTL for
