    I remember reading this. The opening and first fight was ingenious and I thought it had so much potential. But afterwards it kind of just went both all over the place and nowhere, I couldn't figure out what the author wanted to do as a hook and it just wasn't very enjoyable to read on. Let me know if it gets really interesting in the later parts of the novel but I don't see the appeal.

        Mmm true true I agree with that. I love friendship/loyalty types of relationships the most. This novel has no romance for mc, but he’s so loyal and the friendships he makes are wholesome. Honestly if that’s what is important for you then you should definitely keep reading because it’s beautiful!! 🥹🥹 Perhaps also on another site? There’s a good translation of the early chapters and there are so many ‘signs’ from the beginning that later on will make sense. Everything in this novel has a why of the why. Sounds crazy but it’s really that! Hopefully you will give it another chance 😫💗

        ... I read the first chapter... And when he said white tiger... I Realised I read this sh*t before... I must have dropped rather early only First arc was good I guess I dropped cuz of the translation or was it exams.. I don't remember And if you want masoistic Try kingdoms bloodline..

        Hohoho. Try "the protagonist hides his strength". That one is one of the boi. Also they r quite different given the fact that i forgot that there must be another element. + A f*ck*ng cliff hanger in their fcking romance.(either the girl or MC dies and they never get along) *cough* One emphasize this very gud that i have seen is "civil servant in romantic novel" try that.

    MC is basically a self-sacriface *d**t and a chess lover who wants to save all his playable players in a game he played until he died and incarnated in. So far there's no romance for MC but the the original MC characters has chemistry with the FL which the real MC ship them together. And for some reason a 5000+ years old tigers are obsessed with adopting/observing/playing with MC.

      Isn't seeing the characters you love die over and over again a fair thing to be frustrated over? Surely, knowing that you'd die from illness before living life you'd want to do something you feel worthwhile, even if futile? Now that mc's game is his reality, knowing what could happen wouldn't you wanna change it?
