It was decent the first couple hundred chapters. Sadly it gets a lot worse after the kingdom arc. I personally also dislike some of this novels aspects and how they changed throughout the story. Other than that I really dont have much to say about it. Read it if you're very bored, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. The fact that this is the authors practice novel should tell you a lot about its quality.

The story telling and mysteries can be interesting but are often over done. Every arc being a big conspiracy gets boring and exhausting, especially with the constant usage and fixation on fate is annoying, and the magic related to fate is never really explained or ex-anded upon. Some of the battles devolve into fate this and fate that, removing the interesting and unique aspects of different types of magic and how they may complement or hinder each other. The usage of fate also removes true agency of the characters, if fate is strong then the choices that the different characters make start to feel less meaningful. A character may twist fate but expectedly the plot just ultimately twists it back on them which feels unsatisfying. The story also starts to move further away from the system/game elements taking away from the importance it had earlier on the novel.

The more you read it, the more you know. The more you read it at one time especially, the more apparent how: average. This novel is, well; as a whole its average. But with the extremely slow release rate (this isn't the author's main work) the arcs (which are clearly defined) can be enjoyed one by one. And individually, they are rather nice pieces of art. The way i see this novel is: Good beggining, cause author got inspiration. Author did not write down inspiration anywere of the trigger and forgets inspiration after arc. The feel of the novel then changes. And the author pulls a knot out of his ass to connect a completely new plot/ arc with the previous one. The knot seems to work very well, as if it's been dipped granny meng's soup and it makes you forget about the previous (often unfinished) plotline and introduces you to a new concept! Ok, read this in moderation and yeah, its a great novel. But after reading 300 chaps straight, take a break. Cause that's when the base has been built, and the Chimera has truly began construction.

It is an adequately written novel. But I don't know if the author meant to or not it feels more like Lord of Mysteries fanfic. And also the structure feels a lot of the same. Still give it a go for reading when your out of novels

Dropping at C18. I came here after reading LoTM, and I must say I'm annoyed by how it was written. In my opinion, the shifts in character POVs in LoTM is much smoother than this novel. I'm accustomed to fast-reading (which I did in LoTM), and this novel's changing POVs every other paragraphs does me no good at all. It's confusing af whose thoughts am I reading. Plot seems promising tho. Might come back if I don't have anything else to read. Lol.

Hello, AK here. Thanks for all the positive and negative responses. I just write this novel to improve my writing skills but didn't expect it would turn into a good one. Anyway, I think this is a pirated website, that's why they aren't updating properly. So, you can read the latest chapters on 'Webnovel. com. '

This novel is a masterpiece. I know it quotes a lot of things from the Lord of Mysteries, but that doesn't make it bad because the author succeeded in making the novel have a unique taste. It's like the author pov it's also quote from TNE but it doesn't copy word to word

Sigh. . . where do I start. . . This novel lives and dies of its imitation of lotm. What could have been an amazing story went down to be a convoluted burning dumpster fire of a plotline. If you are looking for a new fresh novel to read while you wait for the actually good novels to update and might be fun a lot, this is the novel for you. Otherwise, I don't recommend you read this because most dropped after being infuriated by reading 100+ or 300+ or even 400+ chapters. Mainly because it's a formulaic plotline, the hidden plot armour effect (where the author purposefully hides information, then when mc is struggling it goes: "you remember that thing I didn't specifically mention. Well it's a very powerful thing that in this specific situation give you an advantage/eliminate the obstacle"), and lastly its confusing and endless plotholes that don't get explained or get outright ignored.

Mods? Some guy is literally trashing the novel. Delete his reviews, he's going too far with this.

The problems are made, the solutions too, now the process is content, and they deliver the content well, 4 star for me.

Very obviously a ripoff of LoTM but not without its own charms. The mc is a grim dark edgy mc so if that fits your style good for you. The summary is virtually worthless as the bit about his previous world is not ever used except to give him a quick boost in skills and to not allow any character growth throughout the novel. The fight scenes while not terrible aren't narrated with enough detail and the mc has a huge ammount of plot armor. So that's about it, I'd personally reccomend re reading lotm or if you haven't read it do so ya animal.

I am very very impressed by this novel, the way fate is portrayed and how it interacts with the story is brilliant. The complicated web of plots that weaves into something that not only creates difficulty for the reader to understand but also the MC wich I think adds a level of depth is super important, by difficult I am not saying that its hard to follow but its difficult to piece all the pieces of the puzzle togehter as an example of this is "who is pulling the strings of fate around the town and creating abnormalities?" or "what is the identity of the villain?". That we dont just mindlessly follow the MC in his "wacky advantures" but we try to figure out things along with the MC adds a nice depth to the novel that makes it very fun to read, following this its also nice that the MC doesnt always make the most obvious or best decisons that I thnk is also a nice change of pace.
