Chapter 20: S-Class

Alex then went inside his room. The room was almost the same as the guest room he had in Rizertia's house. There was a bed, a sofa, and the necessity for studies like a table and chair. The only difference was the bathroom that had been provided inside the room.

Alex remembered he didn't take a bath yesterday, so he decided to take a bath first. After a while, there was someone who opened the door and she quickly scanned the whole room.

"Is this a single room? I thought the academy would provide a room for two."

She heard someone in the bathroom, still showering.

"Hmm. So it's true, I'm not going to live alone. Well, the bed was big enough for two, so we can sleep together in the bed. Fufu, well I will wait for her to finish first before introducing myself." She then sat on the sofa, muttering "Alex..."

Yes. The girl who just got in the room was Alicia. She was recalling when Alex distanced himself from her.

"I need to know the reason why he distances himself like this." The determination filled her eyes.

Not long after that, she heard the sound in the bathroom was quiet. 'oh, she finished. Let's greet her.'

She got in front of the bathroom. When the door opened.

"Hi, My name Alicia. Nice to meet you." She smiled.

"Alicia?"

When she heard this voice, she froze.

"A...Alex." Her face became red.

"Princess, what are you doing in my room?"

"Your room? But this is my room?"

"Your room? Really?" Alex was surprised.

Suddenly their brain clicked with each other.

'King and Grand duke!'

'Father and Uncle'

Alicia blushed.

"I will go back to the dean to discuss this, Princess. I will go out now."

When Alex decided to go out, Alicia grabbed his hand.

"Alex.. why don't we share this room? I don't mind it. Please." She pleaded to Alex.

"Are you sure about that? If you want it then, alright." looking at Alicia's pleading gaze, he decided to tell his teacher about this arrangement tomorrow.

She smiled and blushed after a while.

Imagining 'a man and woman in the same room', Alicia's face had turned red like a tomato.

"If you want, Princess can take the bed. I will take the sofa."

"Ah..." her imagination was destroyed the second Alex mentioned the sleeping arrangement.

"I will practice then," Alex went to the sofa and then he sat in lotus pose.

"Alex..! Why do you call me Princess now? Please call me Alicia like how you always called me before!"

Alex, who just closed his eyes, opened it again.

"I just realized you are a princess. I will need to call you Princess. If not, our reputation will be damaged." Alex said nonchalantly.

"But I don't mind it, you also knew from the start I'm a princess and you didn't mind calling me by my name."

"But I think I need to correct my behavior, Princess. It's for your own sake. I'm sure people will find it disturbing too. There's no way a commoner like me would dare to call you by your name."

"But...but.."

"I think there's nothing more we need to discuss if it's just that matter, I will practice now." Alex then ignored his surroundings and focused on cultivating.

"Alex...Alex..." Alicia tried to call him but to no avail. She didn't dare to disturb Alex who was now busy practicing.

After 4 hours of cultivation, he then opened his eyes. He realized it was already the time for his sleep. When he was just about to stand up, he felt there was something on his lap. He looked down, he saw Alicia sleeping while using his lap as her pillow.

He shook his head and sighed. He carried Alicia in a bridal style and put her in the bed. He didn't forget to cover her with a quilt. After that, he went back to the sofa to go to sleep.

In the morning, Alicia woke up but she could only find Alex was swinging his sword for practice. She rubbed her eyes, checking if she was awake or not. Then she started to recall the small incident last night. She tried to call him but Alex didn't hear her at all, she then remembered that she fell asleep on his lap. Recalling such a memory, Alicia could only blush.

Noticing Alicia had woken up, Alex stopped his practice.

"Princess, did I wake you up?" Alex asked.

"No..no.. you don't make a sound when swinging your swords, I don't hear any noisy sound that wakes me up." She blushed.

"I see. I already brought you breakfast on the table over there." He pointed at the only table which was for study. This room was specifically for one special student, so all of the furniture there was provided only for one student.

"Um... Thank you, Alex." Alex just nodded when she thanked her.

She then went to the table to eat her breakfast.

"Alex, do you have breakfast already?" She turned to Alex and the man nodded signaling that he had breakfast already. The reality was that Alex didn't have breakfast. When he asked for breakfast, they needed to show their room key. But since this room was a one-person room. He was given only one serving of breakfast. So he lied.

"That's good then." She smiled.

After finishing her breakfast, she changed into a uniform in the bathroom. The uniform was a white-colored shirt with a white jacket and white miniskirt for females or white trouser pants for males.

"Alex, Let's go to the registration office."

"Registration office?" Alex confused

"You don't know?"

Alex shook his head, "Teacher doesn't inform me."

"We need to go to the registration office first to see which class we are in."

Alex nodded and followed Alicia, the one in charge of the registration office was a woman in her thirties.

"Aren't you the one from yesterday?" The teacher in charge said.

"Greeting to you, teacher." Alex said. The teacher in charge was the female teacher Alex saw yesterday in front of the dormitory entrance.

"I see. If I'm not wrong, your name is Alexander Sirius, right?"

He nodded.

"Your class is on S-class. The room was the furthest room on the first floor in the main building. I have high expectations of you, young man."

"S-class?" Alex was confused

"You don't know about it?" She was surprised. Then she explained, "For first grade in this school, we have 6 classes, they are S, A, B, C, D, E-classes. The student was put on the ranking from E to S. This means that the students in the S class have the most potential. And have you heard that the dean got a successor this year? Do you know who he is?"

Alex sweatdropped, "No I don't know but I will try my best in the class."

Satisfied with Alex's response, she nodded. Then she turned to Alicia

"You are?"

"My name is Alicia Van Rizertia"

"Rizertia.." She stood up "I'm sorry for my negligence Princess Alicia, your highness' class is S-class too."

"Thank you."

"No no... it's my responsibility to inform every student about this matter."

"Then we will excuse ourselves."

"Yes, a good day for you, your highness." When she saw Alicia and Alex left, she finally let out a breath.

Alex and Alicia went to their classroom when they arrived. The classroom was half full with ten people including them. That means this class will have 20 students.

When they arrived, some people noticed Alicia. Soon when she entered the class, many students came to greet her.

Alex avoided this kind of greeting so he went to the table on the back next to the window. The table was big enough for multiple people. Alex sat on the side, he didn't want to get unnecessary attention.

Suddenly, someone came and sat beside him. He turned his head and he saw a girl with red hair hanging to her waist. She also had red eyes, big breasts, and a slender body. It was the most appropriate thing to call her a fiery seductress.

"You are the dean's student, aren't you?" She asked.

"You know me?"

"I saw you at the test yesterday." Alex then nodded.

"What is your name?"

"Alexander Sirius"

"My name is Firia Merona, first daughter of Marquis Merona. Nice to meet you."

Alex nodded, "Nice to meet you too."

"Have you awakened your element?" Alex thought a while, then he nodded.

"Really? What is your element?" she grabbed Alex hand

"Fire." Alex just answered her question shortly and he hadn't changed his expression at all. Even though she was so sexy, Alex just considered her as some female who chatted with him. In fact, he didn't care about her sexiness because he already hated the relationship with women because of his ex-girlfriend. However, Alicia was a bit more special to him due to the time they had spent together and some events they had gone through.

"Really? I have a fire element too. Let's train together since we have the same Element, then. What do you think?" Alex only nodded his head to respond to her request.

Alicia noticed that Alex was sitting on the back. She wanted to go to Alex and sit beside him but when she saw someone already sit beside Alex, she wanted to rush to him. But, she canceled her attention and just sat frozen on her seat because she saw the woman chatting with Alex got closer to him and she was now holding his hands

'Bi*ch' Alicia cursed. She immediately went to them.

'Cough Cough'

"Princess?"

"Ara..ara..Isn't this Princess Alicia, greeting to your highness, Princess Alicia."

"Yes, nice to meet you. If I'm not wrong you are Marquis Merona's daughter, your name is Firia Merona, right?"

"I'm honored that your highness remembered me."

"Yes, then can you move to the side. I want to sit here." She glared at Firia.

"But, I already booked this seat for myself. Alexander, do you mind if I'm sitting beside you?"

Alex only shook his head because he didn't care who sat beside him. He only wanted to study. But it was different for Alicia. Seeing Alex had no problem with it, she thought Alex was already seduced by Firia.

'Bit*h' she thought. Firia Merona was one of the top beauties in the capital. She was known as a seductress in the capital.

Alicia gritted her teeth, she sat next to Firia to make sure she couldn't seduce Alex.

Looking at the commotion because of Alicia and Firia fighting for Alex. Everybody started whispering and Alex soon became their easy target. Seeing this, Alex could only sigh.

Not long after that, the teacher came to the class. The class was about the general introduction to this world. Firia was bored and started to flirt with Alex, but Alicia always stopped her

"Alex...you don't mind if I call you Alex, right?" Firia asked. Alex just nodded.

"Let's go to the cafeteria together." Firia asked Alex. When Alex just about to nod, Alicia suddenly interrupted them.

"Alex will go to the cafeteria with me." Alicia said, and Alex nodded as well.

Seeing Alex's nod, Alicia smiled smugly to Firia. Firia gritted her teeth. Then Alex and Alicia went to the cafeteria, she saw Firia following them from behind.

"Why are you following us?" Alicia asked.

"I just want to go to the cafeteria, can't I?" Firia snorted. She kept following them. In the cafeteria, ultimately, three of them had lunch at the same table. Sadly, the foods weren't that good and Firia kept following them with so many excuses.

"Alex, I want to go to the bathroom for a while," Alicia said. Alex just nodded since he didn't have any issue agreeing to whatever she said.

When Alicia went to the bathroom, she heard two boys talking about breakfast.

"The breakfast portion was too small, I can't eat until I am full in the morning."

"Yes, I think so too. We can only get two servings of breakfast since our room was for two people."

"Yeah, we had to show our key first before they gave us breakfast."
