Summary

“World” is a game renowned for its remarkable freedom.

In “version 3.0”, I made the decision to maximize my focus on boosting magical abilities!

All stats now revolve around magic! But In turn, I embraced a substantial number of disadvantageous traits.

However, that is inconsequential. I am determined to forge the ultimate Wizard character, It matters little whether the character’s outward appearance resembles a walking corpse.

Yet… What is this?

I have suddenly transformed into that very character – a character with prodigious talent, yet unable to survive a single day without relying on drugs.

I would say the initial setup of the magic - technology system was cool , the mc was good but the side characters are just nocs

I stopped reading somewhere around chapter-70, It became kinda uninteresting, I feel like nothing significant is happening. Does it get worse or better after chapter-70?

Kinda boring i mean mc learns from free library and his game experience. power levels are uncertain .we dont understand how much mc improving ,all in all its not that interesting but i was reading anyway but at ch48 some great all seer comes to mc's city and mc is like wow he is f*ck*ng strong i should see him like bro he is a f*ck*ng seer and you are a being with limitless potential didnt it ever cross your f*ck*ng mind that you can be a slave or seein through cuz that seer is f*ck*ng op and mc knew it i just think author makes mc idiotic sometimes so plot can move

you're too mad over this one plot point bro. why even read novels on this website if you're going to be picky and get hung up on stuff. go read actual English fantasy books with editors and publishers.

I think it was discussed beforehand that the Great Seer was a very mild person among the Ascendents, no, she is very humane and so even when discovered he likely would be fine. As you can see from the text that there were many fans of her waiting to see her arrival. She is a kind of celebrity figure since many people mourn her passing. The only reason he felt fear is because he just got so awestruck by her power as he can innately sense just how strong she was and the moment she knew he saw him there was no time to get away.

So mc heard some rumors about her being kind then goes " well i m sure i can bet my life for this" see how it doesnt make sense . There is no justifeyable reasoning even if she is kind and humane how the hell mc could be sure what will her reactions to a otherworldy and limitles potential being be reasonable . I think author didnt think much . And her being celebrity doesnt mean anything we have celebreties who commits all sort of sh*t .

It is more than rumors as the reason why she is there was to settle a peace between the region and the city who conducted human experiments on enemy soldiers from this region in war. If she truly wanted to do anything, nobody could had stop her, so we can see that she is very peaceful. So the MC isn't wrong to think nothing much will likely happen if she finds out about him. Another reason for why the MC would take the risk to see her beside the rumors is because like you, the MC doesn't understand the power levels in this world as this is a sequel game not one that he played before and there is only so much knowledge that can be gain from a public library. The MC is ignorant because he has no reference frame as to how OP the beings are in this world and so he came to experience it first hand with an Ascendent rumor to be friendly to humans in both rep and action. Which seems justified to me... I don't know why you think the author made a mistake here or the MC being stupid.

Dude idk if i was a otherworldy being with limitless potential you aint see me running into a great seer and hope she is peaeful to me and he indeed know power levels there was a croc guy chewing mc and he isnt near in the ranks as the seer altough mc couldnt fully understan her power level he has to know for sure she can f*ck him pretty easily as croc guy so yeah and her being peaceful doesnt really matter maybe she can saw mc as a threat and be righteous to elimanate it .its just there is so many bad thing could happen i just cannot wrap my head around mc's action so yeah we have different opions and its ok

Excellent translation quality. MC isn't a creepy White Knight skirt-chasing simp like in the vast majority of every other novel. He's a smooth operator dealing with his own mortality as best as he can. His actions are consistent with the character as presented, and his ambitious planning is logical, yet feasible. Powerups are believable. Besides Dylan being a 75% copy of Deadpool, the other names and characters don't feel like they're blatantly stolen from other works. World is fleshed out and feels real. Is good.

As I read up to chapter 1011 so I can't help, but say... The Author really, I mean really love JJK. As there are so many scenes that remind the reader of JJK.

It is amazing because in the latest chapter the MC fought basically a Super Mahito and did the Gojo thing where he fired two orbs than merge them to create Hollow Purple, but the MC did it with two suns and through there combination he use it as a medium for activating his current domain expansion that is hundreds of meters in size. Fooling the Super Mahito in such galaxy brain way that he got absolutely cooked to death by the time he realized. It was such a beautiful fight scene and just made me realize... JJK really should had included more explanation and usage on binding vows cause this series equivalent of binding vows makes fights so much more fun and interesting from how both the MC and the enemy use them in this battle.

The most unbelievable thing of this novel is that the world has free libraries.

Is that not the point of libraries? Where I'm from they're free

I don't expect libraries to be free in a Cyberpunk dystopia where corporations control everything. Information is valuable and I think they'd charge at least a subscription or something to make it accessible.
