This is the very first novel i've ever read in 2017, this has a manhwa same name. And I was so hooked rightaway at the sametime i was disappointed by the manhwa because it was axed. But the story was so interesting I have to find the novel to my surprise there was a lot of difference. What was funny was that it has a lot of reference. Chambord its a place in earth. The names are like wtf... Its all reference in real life. And the power system was interesting as well, from Star>moon>sun>demi god>true god realm etc... over all this novel is pretty d*mn good. Specially the side character got strong too, not just the MC. It's not perfect but it was satisfying to read
honestly just a solid novel with some ups and downs. the relationships he has with people was refreshing to see but a lot of them are just unexplored. some plot developments seem a bit random at times and his wives are so distant. like their extremely important and clearly helped him immensely in the earlier chapters but you would forget about them if the author didn't put " and then Fei spent five days with his beautiful wives." ending did feel a bit unsatisfying for me personally but I enjoyed Alexanders personality and that it stayed consistent throughout the entire novel. he could be ruthless and cunning while also maintaining his arrogance even if he had to " bow down" to someone. I'd recommend the novel just for anyone wanting something light to read. it's by no means perfect and would probably just give it a low 4/5
Dang one of my very first novel to start into fanfiction, I was rereading this the other day cause im craving for some small Kingdom MC getting skills and items from Diablo 2 and using it with his legion army for his kingdom, was good at the past but looking back now its one of my nostalgic novels.
Hmm finally finished..i guess it was not bad. I give it 4.2*s. I didn't like the emphasis they put on earth at the end (that was stupid imo). And what happened around ch 1070..a lot of relationships were left unexplored..bt i guess its fine

Dropped this 100 chapters in years ago. On this grave I learned that not all webnovel are good. A valuable lesson. Not my taste.
Fair warning to anyone starting this, the translators commonly split chapters into multiple parts and then repost them, so expect alot of repeat chapters. However at around chapter 170 only the first parts of the full chapters are posted at all so there's alot of skipped content. I've read to chapter 180 at the time of typing this and the issue is persisting. If the problem stops, I'll write a reply with the chapter that goes back to normal, however until that happens, I'd recommend reading on another site. Edit: At around chapter 182 the skipped chapters seem to have stopped.
