    tbh, when I read the first few chapters I was impressed and ready for a good novel… but somehow after he reached the first city… the novel got way to generic/the author just gave him every ability he found in other novels/movies etc… its kinda sad (e.g. Shadow extracting from Solo Leveling. And no, I dont want to say that every novel has to invent their own concept of abilities and skills, but at least half of his abilites are straight up copies of well known francises) Plus the mc behaves like a teenager during puberty while he is/was around 30y old. This novel in my eyes had one of the best written prologue/character backstory for an isekai, only to get ruined by the mc getting op out of nowhere and basically the author playing copycat

      You were excited when you read the first chapters? Man I can’t read past chapter 5 without having considered dropping it multiple times already. The way the Gods are represented is so cartoonish and childish, it’s annoying. The MCs personality is childish asf and the way he speaks just irritates me. I get that he’s supposed to be f*ck*d up in the head but it doesn’t help

        yeah… I meant the part of him trying to get into a relationship and got scammed, I think thats a promising start for an antihero character but everything after that was… well mediocre at best

      I'm not far enough, so i can't judge your second option but i think i read over 30 Novel and i guess 50 Manga and the most of the spells were copied. But i would like to know if you know another ability. That would realy nice because i guess enough authors would use your opinion because everyone want to be special. (no flame) :)

        tbh its been a while since I read it… but I shouldve commented below the chapters (I only read to chpt 50 or so) *edit… the last chpt I read was the fight against the Lich and tbh… It just reminded me of Solo Leveling in the Demon Tower (maybe its cuz I really like solo leveling that Im biased when I see shadow soldiers and an neceomancer mc who is an assassin… but yeah) *spoiler is in… cuz of Lich dude

        so… I shared my experience/thoughts on the novel and you just say that I should not comment that and instead read a novel where I dislike the mc and the novel as a whole?

        No no Im saying that you should read till maybe 250-300 chapters as thats when the author improves his literary skills and also when the novel starts to pick up its pace in terms of intensity. Furthermore, the main character changes over time, since ofc his human just like you and me. So just because the mc doesnt become a giga chad in 20 chaps doesnt mean you should drop it.

        I didnt mean that he should be a chad… but he should at least be likeable… and tbh I didnt like him. I read Overgeared where the Mc is literally the dumbest/greediest person who could wander this planet… but at least he was somewhat likeable, I dont have any of these feeling towards this mc. Thats why I dont want to read the novel… even if the writing and the mc get better after a few hundred chapters

      i don't know it exactly because i read normaly if there are more then 1k chapters but arent 200 chapters a year not much? Or how much does a novel normaly gets per year?

    I’m at ch 256 and author’s disdain for women is becoming a bit too obvious. Like all the female characters are either evil or sc*m and the only good one was killed off in the beginning for character development. I even thought he’d make her an undead but nope. He was acting so distraught by her death but it didn’t even cross his mind to bring her back like he did for omega. Then there’s the fact that all his undead so far were male in human form. All his friends are male and all the decent characters are male. The setup was because he committed suicide because a girl scammed him which I can understand mc aversion but not how almost all female characters we came across were b*tch*s. Does it get any better? I’m not asking for some simp, but balance. It feels like I’m watching the male version of she-hulk

      The FL is chill and cool who is able to rival the mc and some other decent females. But yeah we keep finding evil women which is annoying but the story and worldbuilding make up for it.To be honest I don't even remember since it's been a long time since I read earlier chapters.Updates r extremely slow and author went on hiatus for a long time due to his health.
