Chapter 292: Using The Life Potion For Attrition Battle

Havto pulled back his fists as William was sent flying back. He awkwardly said, “Apologies! I haven’t reduced my power yet.”

The Temple Knights were shocked speechless.

But the knights knew that Havto had done it purposely as they were familiar with his character.

If nobody antagonized Havto, he would not retaliate.

But if someone offended him, he would beat the offender to death.

William slowly climbed up from the ground. His head was slanted to one side as he spat out a mouthful of blood. He silently showed a thumbs-up to Havto for reducing one-third of his Health Points without using any skills.

After Havto reduced his power and was about to ask William if he needed more time to rest, William had transformed into a series of mirages and appeared before Havto. William slashed at Havto with his Sword of Hegni and Sword of Thunder.

The blades landed on Havto’s right arm and bounced off after creating a series of sparks.

At the same time, Havto punched at William’s chest using his left fist.

William immediately dodged, but Havto’s fist became claws that ripped at William’s armor, causing distinct claw marks to appear on its surface.

William used the chance to bash his head on Havto’s skull.

Havto remained motionless while William had been sent flying tens of meters back. He created a deep gully before stopping.

“10 seconds.” William glanced at his remaining Health Points. Havto had suppressed his capability to an Advanced professional.

Havto knew that his endowments were superb. In order to have a fair duel, he did not use his battle energy.

William would never allow himself to be passively beaten up. He would not resign to the fate of being a sandbag.

When Havto charged towards him, William activated Dawn Assault.

He transformed into a ray of lightning and charged towards Havto.

It was the first time Havto had been sent flying by the exploding shockwaves!

William grabbed the opportunity to fire consecutive arrows at the flying Havto.

Nine lightning arrows tore through the air and landed on Havto, sending him flying higher and higher.

William did not slow down his offensive. He leaped into the air and appeared above Havto. His sword emitted the sword energy of a full moon.

Havto crashed and was buried deep into the ground.

William followed Havto with the speed of lightning and swung both his blades.

Both the sword energies sliced through the mist that had been created by the crash.

Within seconds, William had stabbed tens of times!

When he was about to continue stabbing, a loud laugh pierced the air.

William stopped attacking, and the misty debris settled down.

Havto could be seen in a large pit. He looked like a steel giant who stood upright at the bottom of the pit. His clothes were shredded, revealing gold-colored skin that looked like steel. Both his hands grasped at William’s blades while he asked, “Have you had enough?”

“It’s less than one minute!”

William abandoned his blades.

Havto released his grasp and punched at William!

William’s fists had almost no offensive value. After being punched on the chest just now, he retreated tens of meters.

It became a one-sided fight with Havto pummeling William.

The Shield of Temple of Light, Havto, had powerful punches that created numerous shockwaves with each move.

His fists had unimaginable power and damage.

William was consecutively forced to retreat until he collided against the invisible magical barrier.

Havto had trapped William at a corner of the barrier and started walloping him.

Havto did not charge towards William. He curiously looked at him, and said, “There’s a problem with your left hand. The defense rating of the glove is good, but the attack rating is not at its full potential.”

“None of your business. You’ll lose in 5 minutes’ time. Are you prepared to lose your ring?” William narrowed his eyes. He did not let anyone know that he had used a drop of Life Potion when he shoved his bones into the flesh. His recovery rate was astonishing.

Both of them were locked in battle once again.

Each time William was about to die, he managed to rejuvenate back to his full Health Points regardless of the severity of the wounds.

The Temple Knights gaped in astonishment.

Even Lancelot was befuddled until he recalled William’s Life Potion. Then he shut his mouth and pondered, “Did William have to risk so much for the Ring of Sacred Shield of Light?”

It was not worthwhile to use the Life Potion for an attrition battle!
