The 3,000-strong griffin legion was composed of Elven archers.

William did not speak a word.

With a near-impossible pace, he easily dodged the clumsy attacks of the two devils. Then, the Thunder Slash shattered the weapon of the devil he targeted, and landed on his neck.

Green blood spattered in the air.

The devil had to tilt his head back, but the impact distorted his head, making it explode.

The headless devil collapsed to the ground.

With just two blows, Prince William had killed a Grandmaster devil.

“The Lord of Dawn is too powerful. We can only hope for the second Darkness Invasion to kill him. We have to retreat now.”

An Advanced devil nodded in fear. “Although we may die when we go back, it’s better than letting these horrible chosen ones cannibalize our corpses. If we die here, our corpses would be eaten by these monsters!”

“Alas! You’ve spoken what is in our hearts. Even if we die, we shall be buried in our hometown. Let’s withdraw and let our imbecile subordinates cover our retreat!”
