Chapter 86: Lancelot

The holy light dazzled him. The unicorn stood beside Annie as it gazed at William. It looked very confused.

“Unicorn?” William suddenly understood what this creature was. He had only seen this mysterious animal in videos. He also knew about unicorns and their endowments through videos.

Unicorns were much rarer than dragons.

The value of this mysterious animal was also higher than that of dragons.

Annie was barefooted and said, “Yes. Lulu seems very interested in you. Thus, she came to see you!”

“Lulu?” William took off his shoes. But just as he was about to walk over, the white and flawless unicorn’s eyes immediately widened. It was staring straight at his legs.

“Don’t mind this. Lulu is always like this. It does not like anyone other than me touching it. It won’t even allow people to see it!” Annie smiled. “I think only grandpa Band has seen it.”

William did not pay attention to the unicorn. Instead, he asked, “Is she a female horse?”

Annie consoled the unicorn. She seemed helpless as she explained, “I simply gave it a feminine name. Unicorns have no gender. Furthermore, Lulu is not a horse.”

“That’s right. I’m not a horse. How can a mighty unicorn be compared with an ordinary horse?”

Suddenly,

A voice came. The unicorn was speaking in human language.

Interestingly, this white horse did not open its mouth…

William was stunned for a moment. Luckily, he had experienced many things and knew that most magical beasts with Legendary bloodlines had this ability.

But Annie stepped in between them. She looked unhappy, and spoke in a low tone, “Lulu, don’t cause trouble!”

The unicorn repeatedly tilted its head and sneezed. It glared at William. Then, it brushed its tail over where it had been touched. Finally, it turned invisible and disappeared.

“Hmph. I just touched it. It’s not like its flesh will drop off.” William laughed. He felt that touching a unicorn was a greater achievement than chatting with Annie.

He did not manage to obtain much information from the insight, but mysterious creatures like this naturally had high luck.

He could not cancel out the negative results that Fiu Roeser would bring back. On the contrary, there may be a rebound.

Of course, these were all just uncertainties.

Along the border of the Blackleaf forest, three people were running wildly. All of them were covered in blood. Two of them had frightened looks, and their eyes were full of fear.

“Lancelot… are you crazy? You are really crazy. You cannot stop them.” One of the knights stopped and shouted. But he did not hear any response. He clenched his fist nervously, and then, he turned around and continued running in sorrow.

He knew.

All three of them knew.

Someone had to hold them back.

If no one did, all three of them would die…

The other two knights had become full of fear. They also hated themselves for not being brave enough.

They had betrayed the rules of a knight!

They could not face a powerful enemy without fear. They were not courageous and loyal, and they were afraid of death.

They were proud Temple Knights. But when the enemy killed a dozen comrades,

They only thought of how to run away. Their hearts had become full of fear.

Lancelot did not complain that his comrades had put everything else aside and ran away. Even among the Temple Knights, many of them were afraid to die. But they had done enough.
