    A 8/10 yes It Is chlice but used in a good amount It remainted me of a cthullu like that i had and forgot. I like how It Is stated that even the glacé of a moster can make insane a persone. In other commento i see a lot of aaaa this person didn't understand Lovecraft horror when It Is stated multiple time the horror and even the not sight but precente can make you go mad. It Is stated that Power and knoweleg Is not good but a way go madness. And last Is It dropped? The translation i mean the real novel Is at 400 chapter and pass. I mean It ceartly wasn't the best but still i see enought commenti fotmthis to continue no?

    Ahhh f*ck it’s p*ss*ng me off. Cause I’m deciding whether to read a novel or not, and the more I decide, the more I decide not to read, cause there’s a lot of conflicting opinions. Ofc even a 4/10 novel might even be a 10/10 for me specifically, but because of reviews and all that, I just skip next skip next skip next without actually reading ANYTHING😭

    It only has 166 chapters and hasn't been updated in months, but I've seen extra chapters on some other sketchy websites up to the 400's. Does anyone know why it's not getting updated on any of the mainstream sites, or if there's any cleaner sites I can read past 166 on?

      It might be that the cleaner sites are uploading a proper translation that:s been abandoned while the sketchy sites are uploading a machine translation. An easy way to check is either comparing the first chapters or checking if the quality of the translation dips immediately after the last chapter posted on the "cleaner" sites.

    I know some lore and story about lovecraft universe many because of people keep mentioning them that it was a really fked up world, same happen to W40k, even tho i haven't read any of them. Should i start reading? is there a book for 'beginners'? Or smth. I'm interested to learn more about their world.

      Hey there, it has been some time You see, from the time I had said you to read call of Cthulhu, I had went more into Lovecraft works and read many more So... I can say, overall all Lovecraft stories happen in the same universe so, if you want all the details and all, you must start from the first short story he had published and continue with the years they were published and read based on that But Lovecraft stories aren't that ... You see ... Continues so you can start from whenever you want and just read random and after two or three story you get the general idea of most of things But if you want to go indepth in the story of the world and all, you must read like I said, based on the years he had published the stories and all ( I was just wondering around the site and came see this comment, then I told myself, to at least give a good explanation to you, not that amateurical explanation of someone that has read only a few book of Lovecraft )

    Could someone please accurately describe the plot because I don't understand the synopsis. I am trying to decide whether or not to read it, but don't want to waste time reading something that doesn't align with my tastes.

      MC is transported to another world while playing a horror/action/mystery game after completing it. The class that he gets is deeply connected to Cthulhu mythos universe. After transmigrating he works as mercenary/problem solver and tries to survive the situations these insane deities put him in. The premise is exciting but the writing was boring. I dropped it in 118 chapters.

        Couldn't get past the chapter 20 of "lord of the mystery" maybe I'm too impatient but the world building part of the novel was excruciating for me to read but I heard it's an excellent novel. I even nearly dropped the "shadow slave" because of a similar issue.

        you're the first one I've seen who says that about shadow slave, the beginning is really fast and catchy unlike lotm for example (which is amazing too)

        Yeah that is a quiet normal problem You know those masterpiece novels first volume always is kinda boring and became better and better at the end of first volume and further I say First volume normally is kinda familiarization with the world of the story and power system Shadow slave Reverend insanity All of them has that common thing in them Still try to read it, if you had time It is a masterpiece

        yeah tbh the beginning of lotm is a bit rough. I also took a few breaks from reading it when i first started. Eventually i got through the first book because the tarot club meetings were so fun to read. And from the latter part of the first book on its starts picking up in pace more and more untill you literally cannot put it down anymore.
