They could see the rock face behind them, but they couldn’t see the other three rock faces clearly even as they peered as far as they could into the distance. All the other three rock faces were black lines in their field of vision. These were massive rock faces close to a kilometer tall; for them to appear like black lines was an indication of just how massive this expanse of land was.

“The earth is so level. It doesn’t look like this was the result of a spell technique, but it’s even more implausible to think that this is a natural land formation.” Xiao Ze was also astonished.

Thus, the three of them turned their eyes to the Jade Bone Immortal Bug.

The Jade Bone Immortal Bug replied in a slow voice, “Regardless of whether you believe it or not, this is a natural formation! It’s the Heavenly Basin of the beast tribes that has existed ever since Pangu created heaven and earth!”

The humanoid creature enshrouded in black mist turned toward the two of them with a pair of blue balls of light somewhere on its body, which were presumably its eyes, before giving a slight nod. “You are the eighteenth and nineteenth teams… Go on, heroes of our beast tribes! Go find your opportunities! That place has everything you have ever wanted! I wish you all luck!”

The Nightmare Mud Man waved a hand, and a black bridge materialized from the edge of the vortex and extended all the way into its center before plunging into the boundless darkness.

An Lin had no choice but to grit his teeth and continue onward with everyone else.

Before he knew it, they had reached the end of the bridge.

Everything was extremely quiet. Even though there was a massive swirling vortex below them, there was no sound coming from the vortex.

An Lin nodded before being struck again by the sense that something wasn’t quite right with this situation.

A kobold nearby unintentionally caught sight of their interaction, and it immediately flared up in rage as it ground its teeth with resentment. “F*ck! I really want to kill couples like you!”

It then seemed to catch onto something as its expression gave way to shock. “Are you two huma…”
