It's a wuxia novel with all of the generic plot tropes. Was kinda unique in the beginning but just got more and more boring as it progressed. I really dont know what motivates authors to type all this up and not try anything remotely interesting.

The story is okay and fine in sections (yeah, I'm using numerous lousy phrases to convey it), but be prepared to be disappointed by the finale, which has many holes and unfinished bits. Overall, a terribly engaging tale with a guy who still has no idea what his dao is, but the world approves it and elevates him to the status of sage (since he's the MC and the "author says so").

Story focuses more on cultivation, it's interesting to see the MC go from mortal to achieving Mortal Dao. MC is realistic and not dumb unlike most young master face slapping novels

The story is mediocre with a lack of motivation in the side of MC. Why he wants to become strong? Nothing, just he wants to. Even he finishes his task, he barg again to another one without enough reason. He can easily go back and stay at Mo province and live peacefully forever. Another thing is there are too many realms, Realm 1 2 3 4 5. Another is too many cultivation level, i think more than 10+. Then with his personality, he got so many over powered skills, technique, supportive class, all his peers became like a parasite to him. In short, he is 1 man army or swiss army knife.

A good novel about mortal dao. I have read a lot of wuxia, xianxia, and cultivating novels over the past couple of years and I have to say this one is in my top three favorites. A good read.

This author is the worst. The story is good but the narration and the way he ends is extremely bad. Main characters were only mentioned few lines once every 100 chapters. So many useless characters. World building is extremely bad and cultivation system is also bad.

Well... it's a good story for time pass... MC was just too weak in the beginning..he work hard to change his fate... he didn't have good spiritual root... but he made his own way and found suitable techniques... but I always felt that something is missing in story like cream in coffee or cherry on icecream... I just can't put my finger on it... like he didn't have much joy in his life... I read 300+ chapters... so long it's ok story...
