This novel I don't see why it's in the low rankings maybe because of the reset , the plot may seem confusing but it's interesting nonetheless , you have to read it to enjoy it and don't listen to bad reviews there are some people that tarnish the reputation of a novel to satisfy there sadistic urges

I reviewed this before the reset, and the author is taking a break from this, so I forgot some stuff. However, this novel doesn't deserve such a low score and ranking. In the beginning, the MC is still a child who has been tortured after finding out his parents died, so his actions and the way he thinks are understandable. The MC has a lot of character development and changes for the better; he's still ruthless, but less evil, but a lot smarter and more likable. The world-building is good, and most of the side characters feel like actual people. Some later chapters and author decisions are annoying, but the story is still a good read overall.

okay the story is really good other than the fact that its About revenge its really good at the start it emotional story and i understand where the revenge comes from but at this point it just boring after the 100+chapter since they only focus on the renege factor nothing else other than him and his family other than that he's just a senseless emotion less killer there isn't really anything good after the 100+chapter's of this novel I'm thinking of dropping this since the story doesn't progress at all the only progress is his powers witch there is no real reason onto why

This story is very emotional and somewhat brutal. I personally read every chapter in the past few days and was disappointed there wasn’t more. I loved it and enjoyed how dynamic of a character Lucifer was, changing and growing like everyone does, while tackling difficult philosophical issues related to himself and finding more out about himself. Complaining about a story where the main characters name is Lucifer couldn’t be any more backwards, the author tells you in the very beginning that he is a bad guy, but the story challenges the definition of bad guy. The story introduces many characters who do things “for the greater good” whether it be for their own country or themselves and what I enjoyed was that the story shows how horrible deeds against another person can be done in the name of good, as backwards as that sounds. In addition I feel like the story asks the reader “if the end justifies the means”, or “if the means justify the end”, as corny as it sounds but Lucifer often does bad things with good intentions and for his greater good, as do his enemies who go on to commit horrible crimes such as torture, murder, kidnapping, and more- (there is no rape in this story). There is a great depth to this story, but my only complaint is sometimes I think the plot armor the characters can have is a little cheap, and the story moves fast ( I won’t write any spoilers even though I want to) . Overall, I love this story and honestly could see it becoming a book series or inspiring one just because of the deeper meaning of actions, the vivid imagery, engaging fights, interesting logic/ planning, and world building . This is one of my favorite light novels, but if you don’t care for world-building, conversations on morality, and the occasional gory scene, it isn’t for you.

This novel is pure nonsense, I mean when I was reading the beginning, the MC was just a senseless killer, a bloody Mass muderer. The review is very long, so uhm sorry for it I guess. There were some kills that didn't make any bloody sense. The first restaurant, he just killed everybody even though they just abused him, I understand the first guy and the owner but he just killed everybody for no damn reason. The girl that first taught him how to cook, the fool just killed her brother cause of a stupid reason, I mean how many celebrities don't have haters, almost everybody has haters, the clothing store was just the worst, he killed the employees just cause they were there for no fucking reason and seriously what is damn disgusting about all of it is that this guy didn't even reflect over this stuffs from what I've read in the comment section. Him believing all humans are evil just cause he was tortured is just pure stupidity to me, seriously I hate novels like this. I was not hoping for a hero protagonist in fact I hate hero protagonists, I just hate stupid anti hero protagonists who believe all humans are evil just because they met the wrong people. In fact, me reading "humans are evil, greedy" just makes me cringe. If somebody then that person is an idiot

As much as I agree to most of these you have to understand he's a kid who wasn't properly educated and was exposed to the worse of people he had nobody to teach him throughout his 5 years tortured killed frankly it would make sense why there's pointless destruction in his wake he was meant to be portrayed as a nearly senseless beast driven by instinct because of his experience.

managed to get to chapter 541. I really don't know how. The mc is a mindless fool at the beginning of the book who massacres everyone who gets close. And so far i think theres only been 3-4 major arcs, each of which did little to build character, storyline, or the setting of the world. plus its super cliche.

Why u read If u don't like killers this whole no El is about one. Or Personally I like this novel just because he is a killer

actually its the opposite, i quite like mystery novels that have serial killer mcs, however, lucian just murders everyone and anyone without any proper 'handling' behind it. like, u calling authorities because im evil? then ur dead.

It was a long time since a novel/book could stur some strong feelings inside me. Yes, there are always bad characters, those who kill/rape/torture ect. but I never managed to really "hate" them. They are bad peoples, doing bad things but eventually mc will come and save the day. Well I hate to admit, but in this novel, I literally had to take breaks while reading this, othrwise I would have shouted in my anger. First off, the characters are perfect. The mc is so well written that despite him killing almost anyone he doen't like (ex. he killed guy who called his (albeit dead) mother a bitch), I found myself cheering for him. He is neither good or bad. Yes, he does horrible things, but I cant really blame him, it is not really his fault. The "good" guys who are supposed to defend humanity well . . . I sincerely hope that they will die horribly. Despite them trying to do the seemingly good thing, when these actions are seen from the mc's perspective, I can't do nothing other than hate them. Still with me? okay, so far we have a mc, who is supposed to be bad, but he is good at the same time and we also have the good guys, who are bad. But wait, there is more! I still haven't talked about the "bad guys organization" (I cant remember their name, so let's just call them that. maybe CV or CVC?). So the bad guys are the ones that try to overthrow the current goverment and play the roles of demigods, while disregarding ordenary peoples as a lower race. They seem bad right? Well, it's complicated. I can'r really agree with them, but at the same time I can understand them. In my opinion it's a hidden gem, and I can only hope that the quality will not declone overtime. READ IF YOU LIKE: antihero-mc, op-mc, ruthlessness, little bit of drama(?). DO NOT READ IF YOU: have a high moral code, want a hero mc, find torture/mass killing disturbing, hate op from the start mc.

Well Im currently at chapter 526 and so far as weve all seen the mc is an antisocial kid with trust issues. But the good thing is the novel has a pretty solid translation and the mc goes from a rampaging beast to using his brains more and the side characters are actually well defined as he has uses for them. The name LUCIFER is cringe af tho. The memory loss arc sucks but the novel gets better after that so for those still having hope have some patience
