Try primordial record. Also trust the process. It will be confusing at first but thats author intention.

Is this what people were calling a ā€œhidden gemā€? Iā€™m seriously wondering when thatā€™s supposed to kick in because Iā€™ve reached chapter 100, and so far, itā€™s been mediocre at best. Am I the only one frustrated by the pagoda arc that felt completely pointless, as if it had zero impact on the MC? It might as well have been erased. And donā€™t get me started on the writing, why is it narrated more from the authorā€™s perspective than the MCā€™s? It makes it impossible to get immersed in the story. The bad grammar are just the cherry on top. Plus, the MCā€™s ā€œpick meā€ attitude is annoying. He canā€™t stop criticizing other MCs from different novels, and yet his takes are laughably wrong hypocritical and very inconsistent. Sometimes itā€™s okay if trillions of people died, and sometimes he goes mad when a random village is destroyedā€¦ Does anyone else feel the same, or am I missing something? Maybe all the reviewers are new readers?

Don't worry that trial is soo important and still relevant to the latest chapters, wang wei is really a unique mc he's not honorable or anything just a self aware hypocrite guy that can kill anything or anyone for his goal and ultimate freedom and he is extra biased to his closed one, in fact your gonna see typical mc tropes here and there and see how wang wei is compared to them i recommend stick to it till the heaven will battle sh*t was peak!

Iā€™ve read up to chapter 200, and it started to get a bit more enjoyable after chapter 100. Itā€™s definitely improved, but I still wouldnā€™t call it a gem. Wang Wei just isnā€™t my kind of MC, his "cool" moments come off as cringy, his speeches are full of nonsense, and his fighting style is the worst. Itā€™s basically just: punch, stronger punch, and then an even stronger punch.

The point where it becames a gem is after chao 450, before that is just passable. Just know that in this novels morals are not that inportant and most characters are hypocrates that only care about there benefits and no law is absolute in the universe. Also, the grammar never gets better, at some point your brain just do the autocorrections automatically

I actually started enjoying it around chapter 230, and I can see the potential. I'm at chapter 270 now, and the grammar seems fineā€”maybe Iā€™ve just gotten used to it. That said, I still skim through the fights and skip all his speeches; theyā€™re unbearable. I canā€™t stand how he toys with his opponents, gives cringy speeches, and reveals all his cards for everyone to see, only to get mad when it backfires. I really hope thereā€™s some character growth soon because I can't stand this type of things.

I'm at ch 1270 nd you know what? I still skip most of the fights unless there's some new techniques, nd it's not only because of punch punch bt because of Authors sense of distance like they're standing light years apart like wtf šŸ˜‚...bt yeah story gets so better like you won't believe those 100 chs were part of this same novel.

Wang wei doesn't really have a good reputation he ain't demonic for sure but he's known to be ruthless and wicked and scheming af, in fact bro is the most insidious heaven will contender in the field everybody is afraid of his machinations. as for his battle style he uses his body primarily he doesn't believe in weapons and use fate spells wait till he get his physique.

Dropped at ch. 250. Tbh the plot isn't even that bad, apart from the many plotholes in the first 40 chapters. The reason I can't be bothered to continue reading is the awful translation which is barely better than mtl.

You dropped at the point when it gets better. Although is true that the first 200 chaps are bad. After 250 it gets passable. After 450 it becomes one of the best in the genre. I believe author was not trying first 450 chaps and only after that he put in the best effort, that is how drastic the change in quality is. But grammar is still trash even in the news chaps

Age is silly in these novels it goes really quick. You just need to imagine him as an adult/young man

White hair is common in Chinese novels. Its just means they have a special bloodline.

And itā€™s just a coincidence that they both have bloodlines that cause this?

Bloody hell is everything pointless to you? Because they want to feel closer with each other and it's a request he made in the past that she fulfilled. Not everything has to have some crazy plot meaning

I just mean, do you see couples dyeing their hairs to be matching? Why would he want her to change herself for him? Is their relationship toxic?

      • Naqster1 1

Holy sh*t idk what goes on in your head but it's a novel for f*cks sake. Not everything is repetitive, somethings can be original yk. And no their relationship is obviously not toxic if she's matching hair colour with him. It's not a big deal and she does it on a whim just because she wants to. It's a non toxic, equal relationship.
