Konoha Hypocrite

If you enjoy cold, rational, smart and ruthless protagonists, then this is the novel for you. The translation quality is quite low though, and the author uses a lot of japanese words and names from the original series, which can be quite hard to understand. But other than that its quite good, especially if this is the type of protagonists you enjoy reading about. It's not for the faint of heart.

I only read like twenty or so chapters of this before i dropped so i might be judging this novel a bit too harsh, but i couldn't continue after seeing how the six yr olds were acting. Let me just say they were acting crazy. Also there's many other bad points to this novel like how the MC has way too good acting skills and has no morals ( While some might see this as good a thing i don't), the author didn't even explain where they came from so i find it a bit unrealistic. The novel also portrays the naruto world in a very dark fashion, for example it shows the third hokage as a very shrewd and calculating person who uses other peoples as mere tools to get his way which isn't like him at all so i personally find this annoying. Don't read this if u don't like pure evil MC.

Read this before the purge if you like evil edgy mcs this novel is for you he is op the fights are cool there are some translation problems but not too bad only thing is the mc acts like a robot at times when it comes to interacting with other characters it doesn't matter how fucked up his actions are he doesn't even blink

Alright people have been giving this novel a bunch of hate and I think this doesn't deserve the hate . First of all , the mc is not a hot blooded face-slapping murim mc and definitely has a brain . Second , mc is PURE EVIL , bro would probably kill someone if that someone stepped on a leaf near his house . ( Personally , I love this though it might seem edgy ) Lastly people say that this novel has no relation with naruto and stuff , man what do expect , its a fanfic in which mc was born when naruto's parents were alive ( I don't know if this deserves a spoiler tag ) I agree that the story could have been better but if people can enjoy wayy more edgy novels than this one , then this doesn't deserve that much hate . The world building is good enough . Character development is definitely great though sometimes it might feel edgy . There are a bunch of arcs to keep you entertained and they aren't REPETITIVE . Last but not the least , mc is manipulative . He is not at the levels of light or lelouch but he is manipulative and that's what I love about this novel . Should give this a try if you have a chance to .

It’s phenomenal, the best ever. There was never anybody as ruthless. He’s one of the great evil mcs out there shining above everything and everyone. I have to say the fights in this novel are written like great and this is real. Great fights great Mc and he’s just a a juggernaut he’s a dominator I recommend everyone this novel who’s not a pussy crying about evil mcs who kills friends of theirs for huge power ups.

There is a lot of f up moment, especially when tonan is still a student. As time goes on, it's not getting better, his kiss ars moment are trully cringe, especially when it comes to hiruzen, i skip a lot of conversation that happen between the two. But things get better when he got exposed by hiruzen and 'joining' danzo camp. And it's got better in the war arc. Well i hope it's get better, since i also notice that the author also trying to fix some hole. And that Orochimaru forbidden technique are trully a game changer, imagine that there are bunch of people having tonan trait, especially sharingan, and managed to advance those sharingan into a mangekyo. Dang. And you have to realized that this ia just a fantic, don't hype up your spirit by thinking that this is happy comedy like the original story, because this thing took a sharp turn.

An okay novel is an amazing fanfic there are some bad parts some good and at the chapter i'm on like 196 the translation falls to shit but the stuff before that geniunly amazed me at how good the grammar was, aswell as there being a system that isn't really a system like commonly known it doesn't show stats or anything like that just does what the system does. If nothing else read the first 190 chapters once you start you wont be able to stop

Really good novel would recommend to anyone looking for an evil mc. The plot makes sense and the mc is the best part of the book. Good novel to read if your stacking for other novels.

It’s a uncle wannabe Bateman type nivel, not enjoyable imp and just creepy. Don’t even wanna know what the authors like. There’s even a scene where the protag kisses a six year old… he’s regressed, connect the dots.

I've read up to everything that's been released since the hiatus, so chapter 264. I will not go into spoilers but I will give my opinion on the story so far and the character writing without going into specifics. This is edge for the sake of edge, no substance to anything else. The writing and translations are also pretty lacking, and if you told me this novel was written by a 12yrs old who listens to Evanescence and just finished watching Naruto, I'd 100% believe you. There is no merit to this novel at all, and I mean that by fanfic standards. I've read other fanfics which were 10/10s compared to this one, so believe me when I say my score is not based on novels like lotm or ss, but on other fanfics, and this one still gets 0/5. It has nothing going for it apart from the questionable badass moments here and there, but they are invalidated by everything else that happens. The mc is just evil for no other reason than because he can, he has no likeable traits apart from being edgy. I get not wanting a goodie 2 shoes as a protagonist, but there is a difference between a cruel and ruthless mc and a straight up op jackass with no redeeming qualities. There is not even some bullshit revenge plot or some other reason to justify his character, he just reincarnated from our world into this one and has the most edgy system I've ever read. It's simply pandering to an audience that enjoys this type of writing, and with all due respect, if you actually enjoy this novel, I hope to never meet or interact with you in my life. The other characters, that is, the characters from the original Naruto story are written nothing like the original story. Everyone is just as evil and retarded as the mc, probably to justify him being evil as well. Sarutobi, Tsunade, Jyraia, Minato, you name them, they are either evil or so immensely brain damaged they could not tell you what 2+2 is. I'm not even that much of a Naruto fan and I still feel offended by this novel. If you still want to read it be my guest, but I'd not recommend this to anyone, living or dead. I'd give it 0/5 if I could but I can't, so 1/5
