"Qingchong?" The colleague probably didn't glance at the ID before she picked the call up. When she recognized the voice, she uttered with surprise, "What's wrong? Is it an emergency to be calling me so late at night?"

"Yes… I have a question to ask you about Qin Yinan…"

"Qin Yinan? Your husband?"

Her colleagues didn't know about her divorce and still saw Qin Yinan as her husband. Cheng Qingchong paused for a minute before confirming with a soft "hmm". Then, she cut straight to the chase. "Is there a problem facing his company?"

"I'm not particularly clear about the details, but I heard from some people yesterday that there's some sort of problem with the investment of your husband's company…" The colleague paused before adding, "…How about this, I'll call my contacts to get the finer details, and I'll update you later, okay?"

"Okay."

"But it's already quite late, so my contacts might not be available. Do you mind waiting until tomorrow 10 am?"

"Of course, I don't. Thank you for your help."

Cheng Qingchong then connected this to what she had overheard from Qin Yinan's phone earlier, and she understood everything instantly. When Qin Yinan started the company, they weren't divorced yet, so she did know about the bank loan.
