None of the people present could figure out how long the dark-gold giant wreaked havoc in the sky, until at last, it finally disappeared. Then, Scarlet Emperor and Ancient Demon King, who had been unable to raise their heads to look directly at that dark-gold giant, began to recover now that the horrible pressure had completely vanished.
Scarlet Emperor couldn’t stop himself from shivering before muttering, “It’s too terrible. I’ll never go back to Tong Tian Tower.” After finishing those words, he escaped at top speed like a prisoner who has just been freed. With his trembling right hand, he pulled out a white teleportation crystal and crushed it. Then, he dashed through a silver portal door as soon as it appeared. However, before leaving, he glanced back at the place where that dark-gold giant had just disappeared, his eyes still glittering with extreme fear.
Ancient Demon King didn’t choose to escape. In front of him, Navagraha King was being besieged by Duo Duo and Ika whose power had been enhanced by Yue Yang’s dark-gold giant. Behind these two was the Hornless Dragon, Jiang Ying, and the Qilin Girl, Bing Yin. A bitter hatred flashed in his eyes, “You killed my subordinates, I’ll slaughter your entire Navagraha tribe!”
Filled with indignation and hatred, Ancient Demon King didn’t join the group intent on killing Navagraha King. Instead, he dashed to the entrance of White River Valley and prepared to exterminate every single warrior of the Navagraha tribe. He knew that Navagraha King wouldn’t be able to survive the fight against those four girls, especially when the Qilin girl of the Eastern Immortal Tribe was included in the mix. Judging from the effect of the dark-gold giant, he thought that Navagraha Queen wouldn’t survive its fatal attack either. So, out of all of the warriors from the Navagraha tribe, that only left Si Hai, You Jin, Li Pan, and a few miscellaneous subordinates.
If Navagraha Queen hadn’t killed Ye Xiao, Zi Guang, and Bei, then Ancient Demon King wouldn’t be undertaking such an extremely cruel retaliatory action. When his most loyal subordinate, Ye Xiao had to explode himself to delay Navagraha Queen, Ancient Demon King had gnashed his teeth and his hatred seemed to know no bounds. Even though he knew he wouldn’t survive if he chose to stay in White River Valley for a long time, as that would infuriate Yue Yang and Zhi Zun, he wasn’t going to let those Navagraha warriors escape.
He would kill them! An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth! This was the motivation that drove him to put off escaping and focus on killing them all!
Under pressure from the foot of Yue Yang’s dark-gold giant, the blood-red altar had cracked. An indentation of the dark-gold giant’s big toe was clearly visible on the blood-red altar. Fortunately, the female statue and its base had been within in the gap between the big toe and the second toe, so they remained undamaged.
Now, Yue Yang lay on the blood-red altar, but he wasn’t conscious. Due to his anger causing his energy to explode, and going on a rampage, he was completely unconscious. Zhi Zun thought that the battle had come to an end, but what was beyond her expectations was that Zu and Wu, who had transformed into wisps of black smoke, were now floating out from the remains of the Head of Luo Hou.
They were still alive! This proved that Navagraha Queen hadn’t died yet. How could the supreme power of the dark-gold giant have been unable to kill Navagraha Queen? Zhi Zun was truly shocked. No matter how powerful Navagraha Queen was, how was she able to compete with the power of the dark-gold giant’s law? However, after reflecting for a few seconds, Zhi Zun realized that Navagraha Queen must have depended on yet another treasure to survive. It must have been a piece of equipment that was as least as powerful as the Head of Luo Hou or even greater than it. She knew, just as Zu and Wu had hidden within the Head of Luo Hou, Navagraha Queen must have hidden herself somewhere else.
The old masters, Zu and Wu, were dying. As soon as they took form, they tore open their chests using their sharp claws. Enduring the pain, they shed their blood onto the ground, then they drew a strange array of runes using that blood.
Zhi Zun’s expression turned cold. She was worried that Navagraha Queen would launch a sneak attack on Yue Yang, so she stayed by his side.
“Shiiiiing!” Using her Humanoid Divine Soldier, Zhi Zun slashed at the old masters, Zu and Wu. Zhi Zun was able to do so as she had regained some of her energy when the dark-gold giant took over for her. As her sword Qi burst into the night, carrying with it Zhi Zun’s Supreme Will and the horrible destructive power of destruction, the sword Qi split the heavens in half!
While the old masters, Zu and Wu, were strong enough, they were dying. So, when confronted by the power of Zhi Zun’s slash, it was absolutely impossible for them to block it. Still, they managed to raise their canes to resist. “Puff, puff.” Spurting blood, both of their heads fell to the ground.
Eh? Where was Navagraha Queen? Why didn’t she appear when the old masters, Zu and Wu, were about to be killed by her?
Zhi Zun used her spiritual energy to search through the ruins of the White River Valley, trying to find the cunning, fox-like Navagraha Queen, who was doing her best to prolong her life. After scanning the entire valley, three times, except for the fragments of the Head of Luo Hou and a small amount of demonic energy, there was nothing else that seemed abnormal. A few seconds later, the star had gotten much closer. After a few more seconds, it had transformed from an insignificant, dim star into a noticeably bright star. Then, it took on the appearance of a first-magnitude star, one that would be obvious even when gazing at a clear summer night sky. What does all of this mean? The star was falling at high-speed, moreover, its size was monstrous. If this star dropped on them, it wouldn’t be just White River Valley that was destroyed. The entire fifth floor of Heaven Stairway, possibly all of Heaven Stairway, would be obliterated.
It was such a huge meteor, and at the lowest estimate, its diameter was longer than the length of the White River Valley. It was impossible for her to crush it by her alone. There was a choice- bring Yue Yang to Queen Night then escape here together, or try her best to stop the disaster.
“It was you who forced me to do so. You must die with me! Even the Navagraha tribe was extinct, I will not let you live! Now that I can’t live, you can’t live! I can’t get the treasure inside the Gods’ Ruins treasure, then you don’t want to inherit it! Let us die under the meteor!”
