Here are some of my fav lines "I don’t want to become a monster…" "The consultation fee that I charge isn’t much at all. Yeah, wish me happiness!" "Captain we saved tingen" "From the beginning, you've been a guardian. You mimicked others until you were mimicked by others." "Don’t save me… Don’t save me…" “Oh, why are you crying? We’ve already grown up. We can’t be little girls anymore.” And try to guess who said this one but it's just: "why"

“I wont loose too much, just myself.” “Great master or you afraid?” “Yes…” “How laughable and ironic it’s that we strive to save ourselves only to better destroy ourselves.“ "We are guardians, but also a bunch of miserable wretches that are constantly fighting against threats and madness." “Aren’t you returning to the church?” “I can’t return anymore.” "Uncle Sparrow, since that kind of power definitely brings about threats and madness, why do you choose to have it?” “For my dream… and to protect.” “Isnt the ending of a lovely story supposed to have all the bad guys die? For example, you, or me…” “I have never betrayed the city of silver…” “Perhaps i’ve never left my hometown, but will never be able to return home…” “There are always some things that are more important than others.” Too many good lines

Well, it depends for me. I can accept an opinion if it still makes sense, but I can't accept complaints from those who struggle to process things due to limited brain functionality. For example, some people criticize the rushed ending, but the author had intended not to rush it. However, the personality of a certain character, let's call him the monocle guy, didn't align with that pacing. If the author hadn't rushed the ending, it wouldn't have matched that character's personality.

So, it took me like 3-4 months of casual reading to finish the novel. I won't throw any crazy spoilers, I'll say the world building and action for the first half was great The theme and skills were unique but my main gripe on this novel is just how d*mn slow-paced certain parts were. It was hard reading when there was tons of ramblings about possible theories, the main character constantly analyzing like some chess genius despite being just a "keyboard warrior" which doesn't match up at all. But thats a minor plot hole i could ignore. What did suck was being robbed of being able to think about said theories since author wanted to write every single miniscule possibility in each chapter. I'll also say that MC steamrolling ppl that were above him toward the end simply because of one said thing he had was pretty silly to me, it just seems like the last 200 chapters were super rushed in comparison and poorly executed with digesting potions. Imo it was huge plot holes

Hmm... why does this guy seem to ignore the fact that the potion enhances intelligence, especially for the trio coward pathway? It's a mystery, isn't it? 🤔

I only had 1000 words so i couldnt say everything. All in all i thought it was a great story but like i said previously, i have no issues with all the mysteries and theories, my problem was how the author wrote every single possible one in said chapter. How can u enjoy the mystery when said mystery is being thoroughly expositioned in each and every chapter just to add more words. As for the intelligence, lets be real honest here, if he truly became that smart just from the potions, then zaratul shouldve actually killed him the first time no BS. Ur dickriding if u think otherwise. Ik he had his intelligence boosted, but thats all it was suppose to be? U dont go from an average iq to sherlock homes thanks to some d*mn potions and lets say u do. Then all the other seers before that he met shouldve killed him since they wouldve had far more iq Other than that and the rushed ending id still give it a 4/5. Characters were meaningfully added, the climaxes of each arc was beautiful.

Yeah, I guess all that mystical sh*t he went through was for nothing Also, wydm Zaratul shoulda killed him the 1st time? He literally was half a soul that needed external assistance to escape what could he have done? Also, there was a lot of subtle foreshadowing in many parts of the story, if you feel like the MC said everything as soon as it came up, you clearly missed that

Yes, it explicitly made it clear that everything was laid out for him, but lets be honest. The author just made it like that so he wouldnt have ppl complaining about possible plot armor. There were plenty of people lined up behind him if he died, im sure some of them wouldve ventured into the 3 main pathways for it, the author just needed a reasonable “destiny” for it to happen. As for Zaratul, im talking about after he escaped and caught him during the dark emperor ascension. Everything after that was simply him speed running godhood and becoming vastly more experienced & in-tune with his abilities than anyone that has lived for 10 thousand years. Experience speaks for itself and Klein was no novice but definitely not no d*mn veteran to be speedrunning certain events.

I said it for the non-fanatics. I couldnt write everything with the limit. Its still a good story, but imo i enjoyed martial world than this. Not to say certain things are better than others in each of these novels. Just the action and certain scenes were enjoyable. Lotm was like going on a rollercoaster. It had 90% theories, mysteries and daily routines of generic stuff and 10% of actually gold tier content. That 10% was what kept me reading, the pacing was far too slow for all the “yapping” imo. A lot of unnecessary things were mentioned and besides the rushed ending, the story couldve been finished in like 700 chapters
