The best. Amazing pacing, good characters, incredible fight scenes and a huge overarching plot with foreshadowing that can be over hundreds of chapters. This is easily the best book nay work of fiction I have ever read.
Other than the side story I've completely finished reading this novel. So I'll get straight to the point, I recommend reading the first volume which lasts until chapter 213. After that, whether this novel is your cup of tea and whether or not you wish to continue is up to you to decide.
My absolute favorite. You'll be surprised how easily you would find yourself expecting more and more from each character. The world-building is crazy. Once you think you found the answer turns out there's a little more to discover. It's an amazing journey for the MC and for you as the reader. No romance, a lot of great jokes, an amazing community, weird out-of-place theories, and a thirst for more and more. Try it. Be happy for a while.
This is my favorite book of all time. And this is one of the greatest works of fiction EVER. Just the world alone would put this in my top 5 but that isnt the only thing it has going for it. It has a great MC and side characters. And the villains are terrifying
This is one if not The best novel I have ever read. I will now start the 2x read through and am again full of anticipation for this incredible journey do I can start to read the second book with good knowledge of this incredible world.
Reading this changed my life and my standard of other books. There are many things that the other reviewers have said that have already been said. This masterpiece shall forever bless me. This novel is art.
It’s a real shame that the anime is not out yet, but the novel is really good with a great storyline and great Maincharacter and side characters. I don’t have anything negative to say about it
The first hundreds chapter (volume 1) might bored you, but trust me it was set that way to laydown foundation for peak writing ahead. The lovecraftian theme, the plot twist, the mystery, character development, world building, power system, the foreshadowing is otherworldly. Some things might confuse you at first but just be patient, most of them would be revealed later. Be careful of the spoilers in the comments tho. This is already my 4th re-read but i still discovering new things even though i already caught up with latest COI chapter lol
Must read, first hundred chapters or so can be boring. But soon as the 1st volume ends, it’s on. Best Mc, best character development, best author. (Cuttlefish is an absolute menace with his good he writes. ) Have fun reading. 🧐
Volume 1 may not be the most interesting to people but I found it amazing and from there it only gets better, this novel will only leave you wanting more its eveything in one.
I was kinda hoping for a comment which addresses the fact that the good number for the first volume is really boring and slow. I can tell as someone who's read the first 60 chapters of this. I thought that it's only me who just didn't like the beginning but it's a relief to know that it was for mostly everyone.
