Chapter 50.1: Sleepless Night Part 1.
Somewhere in Ramu...
Inside of a random warehouse.
''THEY'RE COMING!'' A man with a nasty scar on his neck yelled anxiously.
''Already?!'' A man with a business suit yelled with shock. ''Weren't they in Yakuza hideout not long time ago?!''
''They already took care of them! They have fucking Martial King on their squad!''
''Fuck! Fuck!'' The man with a business suit anxiously walked back and forth.
''Pack the Crates, we need to get fuck outta here!'' The man with a business suit decided and started barking the orders.
Trucks started to appear in front of their warehouse, and they quickly started grabbing everything in their hands and throwing them at trailers of the truck.
They managed to pack up half of the stuff... Until helicopters appeared in the sky.
''THEY ARE HERE!'' The man with a scar on his neck yelled, he quickly ran towards the truck and jumped to the passengers' seat.
The man with a business suit face turned pale, he turned around and started running away, but before he could run far... suddenly he felt a stinging pain in his leg.
''ARGGGHHH!'' He cried out in agony, he looked at his leg and saw it stained with blood, caused by a bullet wound.
*BAM*

*BAM*
Multiple gunshots were heard.
Next, the truck tires were all shot.
*CRASHHHH!*
Everyone felt the earth tremble after someone crashed to the ground heavily.
They all turned their heads and saw a huge dust cloud.
...But once the dust cloud settled...
They saw a certain man standing with a stoic-looking face.
He had buzz-cut styled hair, with a muscular body filled with limitless strength and agility. He was currently wearing a soldier-like uniform, but it was colored black and grey. He also had on his shoulder pads 7 stars with majestic name [Crown] on it.
He is Gensa's Enforcement Department's, Director Mars.
The man with a business suit recognized the 7 stars and words on it... He turned pale and tried to crawl away, but then gunshots were heard from the helicopter, and next he saw everything going dark.
His body on the ground was stained with blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
His blood started staining the ground underneath him.
He died without being able to do anything.
The henchman of the man with the business suit was stunned, but with shaky hands, they took their pistols from their holsters and aimed at Mars.
''FIRE!'' The man with a nasty scar exited the truck and yelled.
*BANG*

*BANG*
Bullets left their guns.
Mars put his hand forward.
His hand started turning black.
[Harmful Ignorance]
The black smoke escaped from Mars' hand, and once the bullets hit the black smoke...
The bullets turned to ash, leaving no trace behind.
''KEEP FIRING!'' The man with a nasty scar kept barking orders, but he knows that it's just a matter of seconds before they all die.
He looked around him, looking for a place to escape, but before he could decide his next course of action...
*Bang*
He blinked blankly and fell down to the ground... dead.
The henchmen heard the gunshot and saw their second-in-the-command dying.
Their hands started trembling, while fear kept crawling on their faces.
Mars cracked his knuckles and disappeared from his spot.
He appeared in the middle of henchmen.
Henchmen pointed their guns at him.
Mars put his hand on the ground.
[Harmful Disappearance]
The ground below henchmen started turning black, and they couldn't even scream in pain...
Before their bodies turned into ash...
The wind blew the ashes away, without any signs that they were even alive.
The Helicopters landed in front of the warehouse, and around 30 soldiers with the same black and grey soldier uniform left the helicopter and surrounded Mars.
''Captain!'' Soldiers saluted.
''Report,'' Mars said.
''Ramu's Higher-up's Captured!''
''Yakuza members Eliminated!''
''80% Underworld members Eliminated!''
The soldiers gave their reports.
Mars nodded with satisfaction. ''It seems that only one place is left...'' Mars took a map with all the underworld hideouts and he looked at the biggest red circle on the map, which was still not captured.
Mars decided to go there personally because they have Peak Martial General leading them.
Peak Martial General can barely use Power Trait, but not to its fullest capabilities.
When Mars could use his Power Trait as a Peak Martial General...
He could barely heal a paper-cut wound.
And his Harmful ability could only crack the person's skin, but not enough to make a proper wound...
But still... Peak Martial General's are strong... Just because they can slightly use Power Trait.
Every rank after Martial King, the power trait gets stronger and stronger.
Mars' Heal Or Harmful ability is definitely top tier.
But... He is already 38 years old... Reaching Martial Emperor is simply an unreachable dream at this point.
Talent is the important part... And Mars lacked it...
He reached Martial King at age of 34.
...But Martial King is one of the peak powers in Gensa... That's why he was named as Director.
''Let's go!'' Mars ordered the soldiers and they quickly went back to the helicopters.
They started making their way over to the last hideout.
Mars took a radio phone from his chest pocket.
''Report.'' He said.
''Two Targets are safe!'' The voice said with a static voice.
''Any incidents?'' Mars asked.
''Few rats trying to infiltrate, they have been taken care of.''
''Roger, Keep on the lookout - They aren't allowed to get hurt, this is Priority number 1,'' Mars said and put the radiophone back to the pocket.
...
''They will arrive here soon!'' A man said urgently towards the man with a slick haircut and a rich-looking business suit.
He was sitting calmly with a gentle smile.
''So?''
''Please be serious Adamas! I have got reports that they have Martial King on their ranks!''
The man with a business suit, also known as Adamas only shook his head and stood up.
''No need to be so tense big brother.'' Adamas walked next to his brother and patted his shoulder gently.
His big brother - Alec was looking very tense with a pale face.
''Adamas ... We can't defeat him... Maybe if you had more time to reach Martial King!''
Adamas chuckled. ''But I did...''
Alec was stunned and thought that he misheard, he looked expectantly at his little brother.
Adamas chuckled and walked towards the door. ''I am Martial King now.''

He opened the door with a slam and walked outside, where his henchmen were standing in their positions, waiting for the Enforcement Department to arrive.
They could clearly see a dozen helicopters flying in the sky... illuminating the night sky with their lights.
Adamas' gentle-looking smile turned vicious, fitting for the underworld's boss.
Adamas was only an underworld boss in the Ramu.
...But he is only 27 years old, and he is planning to become the Underworld Boss of Gensa.
Currently, Gensa's Underworld boss is Martial Emperor who is about to reach his 40s.
...And there aren't other Martial Emperors in the Gensa.
This means, that battle of the seat of Underworld Boss will be huge, which will be fought everywhere in Gensa.
Adamas is currently the youngest Martial King in Gensa, and he also has the most potential to reach Martial Emperor in the future.
He dreams about his glorious future.
But there is a single obstacle in his way.
And that is Mars.
Mars has 4 years of experience being a Martial King with an incredibly powerful ability.
While Adamas has been Martial King... 2 days.
He doesn't know about Mars' Power Trait, but he has heard rumors that it is incredibly strong.
Strong enough to kill Martial Emperor.
But Adamas is confident because his Power Trait is very powerful...
His Power Trait is called Nucleokinesis.
Adamas can create, shape, and manipulate the forces of nuclear reaction, including fusion and fission, which grant him near-infinite abilities dealing with electricity, magnetism, heat, radiation, etc.
Adamas barely trained this ability so far.
But with his overconfidence...
He isn't fearing anyone anymore.

The ground below him started melting...

His hand started cracking in electricity.

The helicopters started swaying back and forth...
With great momentum, the helicopters started approaching the ground with alarming speed.
Adamas with a huge smirk watched as the helicopters crashed to the ground.

''KAHAHAHA!'' Adamas roared in laughter.
The henchmen looked at the scene in shock... Until they also roared in laughter and feeling relieved that they don't have to fight against the infamous Enforcement Department.
The helicopters exploded in flames...
Adamas and the rest saw huge flames appearing about kilometers away from them.
Buildings around the helicopters were set in flames...
A huge cloud of smoke appeared...
It was so big, that everyone in the Ramu could probably see it.
It reached the sky...
And around the crash site...
The wreck of the helicopters was everywhere...
While the bodies of the soldiers littered the ground...
No one was moving a muscle...
Even bodies of civilians were seen from the wreckage of the buildings...
It looked like everyone was dead...
Until badly burnt arm was shown from the helicopter...
''ARGH!!!'' Loud groan of pain was heard, and from the wreckage of the helicopter...
A badly burnt man was shown...
His body was somewhat unrecognizable...
But his 7 stars on his shoulder pads gave out his identity.
''GRHHH!'' Mars gritted his teeth in agony.
With his burnt arm, he touched the ground.
It started glowing on the green.
[Healing Surgery!]
The crash site was instantly covered in green...
Wounds of soldiers and citizens disappeared instantly...
Mars' badly burnt body also started showing flesh... and shortly afterward he was completely healed.
''Ugh!'' Soldiers around him started to groan in pain, but they were all alive.
Citizens also woke up and looked around in panic.
They also looked at their bodies, but sighed a relief once they saw, that they had no injuries.
Mars stood up with shaky legs and looked ahead with bloodshot eyes.
''Captain... That hurt...'' One of the soldiers commented.
''Yeah... I am fucking angry now.'' Mars growled in anger.
The soldiers took their guns and looked with murderous expression towards the Underworld hideout.
This will be indeed a night...
Which no one will ever forget...
Especially... The Underworld...
