Chapter 61: Reward.

''I am home!'' Slych announced after he opened the door.

He entered the building which was a two-floor building with greyish walls.

The building has a front and back yard, with a white fence that covers the outside area of the building.

The Raften's house belongs to a middle-class area in Armya.

Slych's parents don't have good-paying jobs, they could barely feed themselves, but Slych gives all of his winning money to his parents which lets them move to the middle-class area and buy a good house.

With help of Slych's prize money, they don't have to worry about money, but even though his parents try to decline their son's hard-earned money.

Slych still gives them and doesn't leave any money for himself.

But Slych's earning isn't that great, since he is only part of middle school, but he gets a lot of sponsorships, because he is a celebrity in some sense, especially since his future is already almost set on stone.

He will enter a good high school and join the tournaments, which will let him earn much more than Middle School tournaments.

Especially since usually the fighters for any team in High School get payment from their school.

But with help of his prize money and sponsorship money, he managed to get his family out of poverty.

His 'I am home' yell echoed in the house, and instantly few footsteps approached his position.

Slych put his jacket on a hanger and put his bag down on the floor.

He was about to take his shoes off, but then the figures appeared in front of him.

''Little brother!'' Slych looked in front of him and his face was instantly captured within Sara's breasts.

''Let go of me you big boobs monster!'' Slych cried out.

''What did you say?!'' Sara screamed and pinched Slych's cheeks.

''Uwwww.''' Slych mumbled in pain.

''Enough.'' Sara stopped pinching his cheeks after she heard her mother's voice.

Penelope rolled her eyes at her daughter's antics, she approached Slych and hugged him gently. ''Welcome back son.''

Slych smiled slightly and received the gentle hug.

Penelope let him go shortly afterward.

''Welcome back.'' Next was Zeux's turn, they both did a manly hug with few pats to their backs.

Slych with a smile hugged his father.

''I am back,'' Slych said.

''You need to tell us everything!'' Sara said and dragged Slych towards the living room.

Slych sighed and let her drag him.

Penelope and Zeux followed behind them with slight smiles.

The family sat down on the huge couch in the living room.

''Where is Emilia?'' Slych asked with slight curiosity, Emilia told him that she was staying with his family during his stay in Ramu.

''She went back to her home, she said that she needed to prepare herself for something, not sure what she meant by that,'' Sara replied.

Slych nodded and looked at their neighbor building from the window.

His girlfriend Emilia lived next door with her family, that's why they decided to move in this neighborhood because there were familiar faces close by, but it was pure coincidence that their neighbor was Emilia's family.

''Tell us about Ramu already!'' Sara anxiously kept asking.

Slych sighed. ''What do you want to know?''

''How was the fight against that Ichiro kid?'' Zeux was the first one to ask.

Slych thought for a moment before he replied. ''Hard, very painful experience which I don't want to experience ever again.''

''What do you mean?'' Sara asked with curiosity.

''His fighting experience was way higher than mine... Every time I made a slight mistake, he was already using that to his advantage, which made the fight very annoying and hard. Especially since I was terrified of his spear-like attack, which as you can see, made quite of a wound on me.'' Slych said, he took the shirt slightly off and showed them the slight scar.

''Why was he so ruthless? He could have killed you!'' Sara asked with slight anger.

Slych chuckled, he shook his head and answered. ''He could have killed me if he wanted to, I felt it. At first, he aimed his attack on my heart, but he changed the direction and attacked a place which only causes an injury, but not a permanent one.''

''Oh, I see...''

''And besides... Ichiro was injured before the match, which made the match unfair.'' Slych said with a slightly sad face.

Penelope nodded. ''I saw him on the screen being slightly pale, but I thought it was because the lighting on the stadium was bad, but it seemed that it was because his injury was acting up.''

Slych nodded, then he remember one thing. ''One sec.''

He took his phone from his pocket and opened it.

He saw a few messages, one coming from Emilia, while another one was from a guy called KingOfGames.

Slych knows that it is Ichiro's account.

He opened the WorldlyTalk message app.

{KingOfGames: Sorry, the club advisor was panicking too much!!!! I had to do my morning tasks in a few minutes because we had to rush towards the airport because the plane leaves at 7 AM!!!! I wanted to say goodbye at least, because who knows when we meet next time :/}

Slych saw the message, and he understood now why they left so early.

Members of Armya didn't leave so suddenly, because their coach has more experience and didn't panic because of the sudden news.

Instead, they left after the rush hour was over.

He started typing in the messaging app.

{Slych<3Emilia: I see, our coach let us sleep a little bit longer and we only left around 12 am. I wanted to say goodbye as well, and it might take over a year until we meet again, because you will enter High School and I will only enter the third year, but I have a question. Did you get an invitation to the Enforcement Department's High School from Mars?}

Slych pressed [Sent]

''Are you messaging with Emilia?'' Sara asked.

Slych shook his head. ''No, with Ichiro.''

''Let me see!'' Sara yelled and tried to look at the screen.

''No!'' Slych pushed Sara away and hid the phone.

''Hmph.'' Sara pouted.

*Brrr*

Slych felt vibrations coming from the phone.

He again looked at the screen and saw a message coming from KingOfGames.

{KingOfGames: Yes, actually I did receive an invitation, why are you asking?}

Slych started typing.

{Slych<3Emilia: I received one too... Will you accept the invitation?}

Slych typed the word [Sent]

He waited for the answer with slight nervousness.

*Ding*

Again the phone vibrated.

{KingOfGames: Not sure yet... I need to decide which High School I go to this month, I guess I will discuss it with my parents because the Enforcement Department's High School is located in Taryn.}

Taryn is the Capital City in Gensa.

Taryn's Middle School was also the biggest challenger for Armya in the tournament, but Taryn lost to Armya last year, and they didn't manage to face each other this year.

Slych looked at the screen and thought deeply.

Taryn is 500km away from Armya.

While it is about 1000km away from Irio.

He again started typing on the phone.

{Slych<3Emilia: I see, I am thinking of going there, so can you tell me if you decide to go as well, would be nice to be on the same team in High School.}

Slych waited for the answer with a nervous look.

...But then the ringing voice came from the door.

*Ring*

Someone pressed the doorbell.

''Who could it be at this hour...'' Penelope thought and went to open the door.

Slych, Sara, and Zeux looked at the door.

Penelope opened the door and saw a girl with blond hair which was styled in a ponytail, she had mesmerizing green eyes, which makes her overall look quite unique and cute. She looked very innocent with her slim build, B-cup-sized breasts, and height being only around 161cm.

Penelope smiled gently and said. ''Emilia, did you come to meet Slych?''

Emilia smiled shyly and nodded.

''Come in,'' Penelope said with a slight sly smile and let Emilia inside the house.

Slych saw the person who came inside the house, and he was instantly mesmerized, even though he met her last time a few days ago, he was still mesmerized by the cuteness his girlfriend showed.

Sara rolled her eyes while seeing Slych being dumbstruck, she elbowed his waist.

''?'' Slych was brought of his thoughts, he saw everyone looking at him.

He slightly blushed and stood up, and walked to Emilia.

''Hey,'' Slych said with an awkward tone.

''H-hi.'' Emilia with blush replied.

''Should we talk in my room?'' Slych suggested and Emilia nodded.

Penelope, Sara, and Zeux only sighed while looking at the couple, who were currently walking towards Slych's room.

Slych opened the door to his room and let Emilia in.

He followed behind her and closed the door.

He was about to open his mouth, but then vibrations came from his phone.

''O-One sec.'' Slych stuttered and opened the phone.

Emilia nodded shyly and sat down on Slych's bed.

Slych saw a message coming from KingOfGames, he opened the message and saw Ichiro's reply.

{KingOfGames: I will tell you about my decision, and about us being on the same team... Isn't that a little bit too OP? Think about the kids we will make cry while we dominate! You sure are ruthless, but sure, being in the same team sounds cool. PS, Change your nickname for fucks sake, I can't take you seriously while you write with that name.}

Slych chuckled, with a smile he replied.

{Slych<3Emilia: Jealous?}

Slych smirked and closed the phone.

Emilia looked at him with curiosity, he rarely sees him smiling, except when he is talking with her.

She got very curious.

''Who are you talking to?'' Emilia narrowed her eyes. 'Is he talking with another girl?!'

Slych didn't know what his girlfriend was thinking, he answered. ''With Ichiro.''

Slych smiled and sat next to Emilia in his bed.

Emilia's expression brightened and smiled.

Slych and Emilia sat in silence with their shoulders touching.

Slych's throat went dry.

While Emilia trembled and tried to gather her courage.

'You can do this!' Emilia thought with a firm look, she looked at Slych with her green eyes.

''Time for your reward,'' Emilia said shyly.

Slych tensed up with a trembling body.

Emilia moved her body and sat down on Slych's lap.

''E-Emi...'' Slych was about to ask what she was doing.

But Emilia didn't let him finish his words, instead, she locked her lips with his.

''Mmmm.'' Slych opened his eyes in shock.

After their slightly amateurish kiss.

''H-Happy with your reward?'' She asked with slight shyness.

Slych nodded dumbly.

''See you tomorrow!'' Emilia said in hurry and left the room with a huge blush on her face.

Slych fell down to the bed, he touched his lips.

''Oh my god.'' He said, while his cheeks were dyed in pink.
