[Welcome to Lair of Giant Spider Arachny!]

''Let's do this,'' Mark said with excitement and started walking towards the cave with careful steps.

Jake followed closely behind, and their group of friends started walking towards the cave with excited faces.

Only NightButterfly and Ichiro remained.

Ichiro equipped his [Excalibur EXTREME] sword and started chasing the others.

NightButterfly followed closely behind, watching Ichiro's every move.

The deeper they went into the cave, the darker it got. The First 100 meters since entering the cave were very ordinary; rock walls while a slight light illuminated their way. But after they got deeper, they noticed thin spider webs appearing on the walls, the scene becoming incredibly creepy all of a sudden.

Mark was holding a fire torch since the light coming from the entrance wasn't available anymore.

Only their footsteps and wind blowing echoed in the cave, no sign of the Giant Spider, but hundreds of smaller spiders were crawling on the rocky ground and the walls.

The girls of the group were extremely disgusted but tried to keep their composure.

The boys' other hand was also uncomfortable, except Ichiro. He didn't really mind, but if even one of those spiders touched his majestic armor, he would slice them up. No spider shall touch this Young Master! Well, that was a lie, Ichiro is actually afraid of spiders, but we don't mention it to preserve his self-dignity.

Everyone looked towards the distance and saw a vast open space. It wasn't dark anymore; instead, a blue light illuminated the enormous open room, it literally screams the words 'Boss Fight', they are confident that they will find the Giant Spider there,

''Let's do this.'' Mark and Jake started approaching the vast open space with their group of friends.

Ichiro had slight sweatdrops forming on his forehead, but suddenly he heard a beeping noise on his head.

[Calm Nature Activated!]

'Oh.' Ichiro felt his nervousness disappearing instantly.

''King, should we go? Others are waiting.'' NightButterfly said with her feminine voice.

Ichiro again concentrated on the game; he nodded and started walking towards Mark and others, who didn't enter the vast open space yet.

They arrived in the vast open space; the ceiling was filled with blue-colored crystals, illuminating the place nicely. The vast open space was at least 100m in length and 50m in height. There was only one entrance, and it was the one Ichiro and others used.

The Party looked around the wide-open space warily.

[Hunt the Giant Spider Arachny Begins!]

''SKKKKK!'' A menacing sound was heard in the cave, and suddenly the ceiling started crumbling!

The ceiling was shattered, and from there, Ichiro's biggest nightmare appeared.

It was a massive spider with a length of 20m at least! It had 8 limbs that looked like steel spikes instead, but instead of having the spider's face, he had a human male's! It wasn't an ordinary face; it was very lifeless and pale, eyes were like dead fish, and the skin looked like it was rotting.

Arachny also had 24 eyes, creepily eyeing everyone, slight drool left his mouth, and with a hungry gaze, he made his move!

''WATCH OUT!'' Mark shouted and leaped away.

Jake and their friends also listened and dodged the spider.

Ichiro grabbed NightButterfly and disappeared from his spot way faster than others.

The Giant Spider Arachny appeared on their previous spot, and with his 24 eyes, he instantly found where everyone where.

Arachny seeing Mark being all alone, decided that he would be the easiest prey.

Arachny raised its steel limb and planned to impale Mark with it.

Mark equipped his majestic-looking shield and blocked the strike!

But the momentum of the attack still sent him flying to the nearby cave wall.

''MARK!'' Jake and the others yelled.

Arachny leaped straight towards Mark's fallen figure and opened his jaws hungrily.

Mark's HP has fallen down to 10,000 already, and the next attack will kill him.

With a horror-filled gaze, he saw the approaching spider's mouth.

But then...

A blur of white appeared in front of the Giant Spider Arachny.

Ichiro swung his Excalibur sword, which made a slash appear in front of him, a slash made of pure white.

The slash started flying towards the Giant Spider Arachny.

Arachny seeing the threat of the slash, decided to put his steel limbs as protection.

But it was a mistake.

The slash effortlessly cut his two steel limbs, but the slash wasn't done yet.

The slash struck Arachny's face, which caused 13 of the 24 eyes to be destroyed!

''SKKKKKKKKKKR!'' Arachny screeched madly, blood gushed out of his creepy face.

Ichiro landed next to Mark, ''You alright?''

Mark sighed and nodded, ''Thanks to you.'' He stood up with small debris of the wall still stuck in his armor.

Arachny was crazily smashing everything, he lost his composure, and now he was only filled with rage and pain.

Ichiro unequipped the sword and took a shield from his inventory.

''What are you planning?'' Mark inquired.

''You guys will defeat Arachny; I will not let anyone die,'' Ichiro said.

''Why?''

Ichiro sighed, ''It would be boring if I do everything right?''

Mark thought for a moment, then nodded, ''Indeed.''

The money he gets from these Quests made him slightly greedy that he forgot the most crucial part of gaming: having fun.

Mark, Jake, and the others started circling around Arachny.

NightButterfly took a small sword and prepared to assist.

Ichiro is confident that he can save anyone close to dying.

But his worry was unneeded.

Mark and his group of friends showed excellent teamwork and managed to overpower Arachny quickly.

They still had a few hiccups, but in the end, they managed to subdue the Giant Spider Arachny.

[Giant Spider Arachny Exterminated!]

[Rewards: 10,000 Golden Coins - Spider Armor - Spider Sword]

Everyone received their share of 1000 Golden Coins, and then it was time to decide who got the Spider Armor and Spider Sword.

Those two items seem simple, but they are Epic Items!

Mark and others have only Rare at best; Ichiro instantly declined those; he has thousand times better items.

In the end, Mark got Spider Armor because he is a Tank, and Jake got Spider Sword because he is the Main Damage Dealer.

Others weren't displeased because it will make Quests much more manageable with those items, and they can start earning a lot more money.

They didn't get First Clear on this Quest because it isn't that difficult to defeat Arachny, especially for those players with over 200 levels.

But they can't do this Quest multiple times, only once.

Ichiro and the rest left the cave. The cave was still crawling with spiders, and no one liked it.

''I guess we will split now,'' Mark said.

Jake nodded, but others felt reluctant.

Ichiro nodded, ''We can play sometime later.''

''Alright.'' Mark smiled and left with his group.

Only Ichiro and NightButterfly remained.

''Do you have WorldlyTalk?'' Ichiro asked.

NightButterfly widened her eyes but also nodded, ''I-I do.''

''Can I add you?''

''A-Ah, yes!'' NightButterfly smiled and gave him her contact info.

Ichiro nodded; in real life, he took his phone and added NightButterfly.

He smiled and said, ''I won't be ingame over a week at least, this way we can keep in contact.''

''Ah, yes!'' NightButterfly nodded cheerfully.

''It was nice meeting you again, and I hope your mother will be alright,'' Ichiro said and was about to leave the game.

''Ah, wait!'' NightButterfly shouted.

Ichiro raised an eyebrow.

NightButterfly, with a firm tone, said, ''I won't ever forget, it is because of you my mother will be healthy.''

Ichiro looked surprised for a moment, but then he chuckled and nodded, ''Take care.'' He then clicked the Quit button.

Leaving NightButterfly alone in the forest.
