Ichiro calmly stood up from his sitting position.

The hall was quieter than ever before.

People from News Station filmed the scene with the greatest focus they could utter.

Tiger started slowly moving forwards, still in the same pouncing stance.

Ichiro calmly moved one step forwards, his gaze not leaving Tiger.

''Grrr!'' Tiger growled, drool flew out of his mouth.

The distance was still massive 90 meters.

But... Tiger had enough.

*ROAR*

With a roar, Tiger started leaping towards Ichiro with the help of his massive paws.

Ichiro put his right arm forwards and left arm next to his waist.

*ROAR!*

With the final roar, the Tiger slashed towards Ichiro with his massive claws.

*SWISH*

Ichiro jumped backwards, dodging the claws, but the Tiger wasn't done.

The Tiger pounced towards Ichiro; he opened his massive jaw and attacked with his teeth!

This time, Ichiro jumped to the left side; the Tiger's menacing growl was heard next to him; he barely dodged the incoming bite.

The Tiger turned his mad-looking red eyes towards Ichiro, who was only meter away from him.

[Steel Smash!]

A punch approached the Tiger.

The Tiger didn't move; instead, the punch squarely hit him in the head.

*CRKKKK*

The Tiger went sliding a few meters until he stopped.

The Tiger grew even angrier.

*ROAR*

''Tsk.'' Ichiro clicked his tongue; his punch did lesser damage than he anticipated.

The Tiger lowered his stance, his head almost touching the floor.

*CRACK*

The floor below him started cracking.

*BOOM*

With a boom, the Tiger leaped towards Ichiro, his massive mouth wide open.

Ichiro this time, jumped to the right side, successfully dodging the attack.

But then, the Tiger growled and used his tail to attack Ichiro!

Ichiro widened his eyes and put his hands as a block.

*BAM*

Ichiro was sent flying; he crashed to the floor and bounced a few times before he managed to stop his body's momentum.

A clock in the wall showed that 4.30 and it is slowly ticking down.

4.29...

4.28...

It is the clock that tells how much time is left.

If he survives till the end, he will succeed in the test.

But Ichiro has his Quest, and it means that he has barely 4 minutes left to defeat that Tiger in front of him.

Ichiro's arms ached a little bit after that block, but nothing serious.

The people in the hall were very nervous; usually, everyone who does the test will try to avoid the Mutated Beast, not fight it!

The Tiger didn't let Ichiro rest; he pounced towards Ichiro and started slashing with his claws.

Ichiro put his two palms forwards, waited for the claws to be close enough, and once the claws were on attack range, he used his palms to hit the Tiger's paw, which deflected the claws with ease.

The Tiger was now in an extremely awkward spot; both of his front limbs were far away from each other, which almost made him faceplant on the ground.

Ichiro twisted his waist and unleashed his punch.

*SMACK*

The Tiger was sent flying; he crashed to the ground a dozen meters away from Ichiro.

*CHEER*

The hall instantly erupted in cheers; even the ground was shaking.

The Tiger shook his head; he snarled and turned around to look at Ichiro with a hate-filled gaze.

Time left: 3.42...

Time is quickly ticking down.

Ichiro cracked his neck and started running towards the Tiger.

*ROAR*

The Tiger roared and also used his four limbs to start moving towards Ichiro.

The young man and the Tiger met in the center of the Hall.

The Tiger pounced towards Ichiro, it was like he was giving a big hug, but instead of that, he planned to bite Ichiro's head off.

Instead of dodging this time, Ichiro crouched, which made the Tiger leap over his body.

The Tiger looked confused, but then he felt something contacting with his belly.

Ichiro put his arm on a spear-like stance and hit the Tiger's belly.

*ROAR*

The Tiger roared in agony and landed on the ground; he quickly retreated a few dozen meters, blood staining the floor.

There was a wound on his belly.

Ichiro grimaced. Only two of his fingers penetrated the Tiger's body.

The Tiger's anger finally lessened because he knew the threat that young man in front of him possesses.

The Mutated Beasts aren't mindless beasts. Some of the Mutated Beasts have their own villages on the Island of Death.

Even the Savage Beast can think at the same level as a young human.

Ichiro saw the Tiger being more reserved.

But time was ticking down.

Ichiro went after the Tiger, who was being very careful right now.

The Tiger seeing the young man approaching decided to retreat.

But then...

Ichiro suddenly disappeared!

''ICHIRO!'' He heard an anxious-sounding voice from the stands.

''PFFT!'' Ichiro spat a mouthful of blood, he wiped his mouth and in a hurry stood up, but the Tiger was already only 10 meters away from him.

The Tiger opened his massive mouth and bit towards Ichiro.

Ichiro put his hands calmly forwards.

Ichiro grabbed the head of the Tiger and completely stopped the terrifying momentum of the Tiger.

The Tiger looked shocked; he tried to get his head away, he even tried to use his claws to slice Ichiro to pieces, but his claws didn't reach him.

Ichiro smiled, ''Sorry about this.''

''?'' The Tiger was confused, but then his eyes bulged.

With crack, the Tiger's neck was broken.

The Tiger fell down on the ground lifelessly.

Ichiro was breathing heavily. His body was still in pain, and it was about to become far worse.

Ichiro was ready for the pain to kick in; it was a move he shouldn't be capable of using yet.

''GRRR!'' Ichiro gritted his teeth; the pain kicked in, but then... A lot of dinging noise echoed in his head.

Ichiro looked at his position and saw that he was entirely blocked by the view of others. He was in the cage where the Tiger was held and now the lifeless body of the Tiger was lying on front of him.

Ichiro left the cage, climbed the Tiger's body.

His body was now visible to everyone which caused huge cheers.

Even the ceiling was shaking.

Then Lucas put his arm over Ichiro's shoulder and leaned closer to ear, ''Don't flirt with my sister.''

Ichiro was stunned for moment, but then he noticed Leia sitting next to Ayako, while looking at him.
