Chapter 95: Two School's Meet.

Ichiro lazily woke up. He had dreams about his meeting with Arkenthym, which woke up him few days during the night.

He stood up and sat down in front of his desk; he opened the cabinet and took a stack of papers.

The papers are what school he was going to. He had thought about it past week, but it seems that his decision was made forcefully.

Ichiro started writing with annoyance on his face.

After he wrote it, he left his room and went to the kitchen where his mother was currently.

''Hey, son. You wake up late.'' Azumi smiled gently and put plates on the table.

Ichiro didn't answer; instead, he offered the paper.

''Hmm, what is this?'' Azumi asked and grabbed the paper.

''The school where I want to go,'' Ichiro replied.

Azumi nodded and took a look at the paper.

She gasped and put her hand on her mouth, ''W-Winterlight?''

Ichiro nodded, ''I heard... That it was one of the best countries to learn Martial Arts.''

Ichiro wasn't lying.

Winterlight was one of the top 4 countries in Arya and one of the High-Level Countries.

Winterlight is also widely known to be a tough place to live but the perfect place to become stronger.

Azumi shakily nodded, ''I-I need to talk with Eiji.''

Ichiro nodded and looked at his mother, who anxiously ran towards their bedroom.

He knows that they will talk about this for the next few days.

Ichiro went to his room to put on his school uniform, and after that, he left the house.

''Weird...'' Ichiro murmured and stopped walking, he walked a few hundred meters away from his house, but each step felt weird.

''This... Is the same thing that happened back then...'' Ichiro murmured.

He decided to open the Interface to see if his hunch was correct.

''This doesn't make any sense...'' Ichiro scratched the back of his head. This was the second time something similar happened.

Seeing the System being quiet made Ichiro even more curious.

''Fine, stay quiet, you pervert System who likes to see me naked,'' Ichiro said mockingly and started walking again.

Ichiro snorted, ''Out of all systems. I get the perverted one.'' He shook his head out of disappointment.

Ignoring the System's angry voice, Ichiro had already arrived at the school.

For some reason, there is a festive feeling around the school.

There were decorations everywhere he looked and a big sign saying [Welcome!]

And for some reason, the students have all big smiles on their faces.

''Hey, what is all this?'' Ichiro said from a nearby student.

The student turned his head, and his eyes almost bulged out of his eye sockets, ''Ichiro-Senpai!'' He bowed deeply, his face almost touching the ground.

''Senpai? What the f...'' Ichiro quickly shook his head, ''What is happening here?'' He pointed towards the school.

The student politely and with extreme respect said, ''Irio's Secondary Middle School will come to visit. Our Principal decided to fix the relationships between two schools because there have been few fights between our school and their school.''

Ichiro nodded, ''Fights, why?''

The student straightened his back, ''Because of you, Ichiro-Senpai. Those rats dared to bully you. They are happy that we didn't go burn their school! Hehehehehe!'' He started chuckling like a mad man.

''O-Okay?'' Ichiro quickly started walking away, but the student's intense gaze still lingered on his back.

'Everyone is fucking crazy!' Ichiro shouted in his mind.

He entered the school building and shortly afterward reached his classroom.

The class was only half full because the school won't start in another half an hour.

And apparently, it won't be an ordinary school day, since the other school is coming.

''Hey, Ichiro! Good job in the Martial Test!'' Mark waved his hand and shouted.

Ichiro sat down on his chair, ''Thanks. When is the Irio's Secondary Middle School coming?''

''At 9 A.M, we don't have school today. We need to patch our relationships with them. They will put us as 2 people team, one from each school, and we will have to do some missions.'' Mark said, but then remembered one thing, ''Irio's Secondary Middle School's Principal got fired. That's why this is possible after the new Principal was more open-minded.''

Ichiro was slightly surprised, but he saw it coming, ''I see, thanks.''

''Pfft.'' Ichiro snorted and turned his head towards the window; a slight hue of pink was seen on his cheeks.

An hour went by fast, Ichiro and the rest of his classmates waited in their classrooms, waiting for the day to start.

But then a loud shout woke everyone from their stupor, ''They are here!''

Ichiro turned his head towards the window and saw dozens of buses entering the school through the gates.

At the same time, the door to the classroom was opened, and their teacher came.

''Listen up.'' The teacher said and walked to the center of the classroom; he gave a small nod towards Ichiro before continuing.

Ichiro raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off.

''We will all gather at the Main Hall, and there, we will do a lottery to determine everyone's partner for today.'' The teacher said, ''Follow me, stay quiet and respectful in the Hall.'' After those words, the teacher went to the corridor, waiting for the students to fall in line.

Ichiro waited for the other to go first before he goes last, but it seems that everyone waited for Ichiro to go first.

Ichiro rolled his eyes and left the classroom first, followed by everyone else.

They left towards the Meeting Hall, with dozens of other classes.

For some reason, Ichiro's class was first to enter the Hall and got the seats in the front row.

Ichiro sat next to the teacher, but no one sat next to him for some reason.

But then he got his answer why.

The Principal appeared in the Hall and sat down next to Ichiro.

Ichiro sat with a straight back in the middle of his teacher and the Principal. Even in his previous life, he didn't enjoy sitting next to his teacher; it always made him uncomfortable.

Not because he doesn't like it; he needs to act properly next to them.

After Irio's Middle School students had gathered in the Hall, it was time for Irio's Secondary Middle School.

They entered with a similar line, but their mood was very different.

Some of the students had bandaids all over their bodies.

Students from Ichiro's school glared at them, which made them even more fearful.

Some even showed slitting their throat symbol towards them.

With pale and unsteady steps, the student from Secondary Middle School sat down on their chairs.

''My turn.'' The Principal next to Ichiro said and stood up.

He walked towards the stage, which had one microphone.

''Test. Test.'' The Principal said.

''Thank you for coming students from Secondary Middle School. There have been few disputes between our students, and we are here to make peace with each other.

''We will decide the partners for today with a lottery, and the winner of today's missions receive a reward.''

*Clap*

Students started clapping, but people from Ichiro's school were still glaring at the people from Secondary Middle School.

''Let's start voting!'' The Principal shouted and took two huge bowls and put them next to him in two other desks.

''First, from our school.'' The Principal took a paper and smiled.

''Kurogami Ichiro! Come to the stage.''

The people from Ichiro's school instantly erupted in cheers and applause.

Some even stood up and started applauding so hard that their hands went red.

Ichiro rolled his eyes and went towards the stage.

He stood next to the Principal with boredom.

''Now, from Secondary Middle School.

The Hall went quiet.

Students from Secondary Middle School was quiet, very quiet. Being a partner with so-called Demon King From Hell was a nightmare!

The students from Ichiro's schools who attacked them kept yelling the words, ''Ichiro is our lord and savior! You mere insects dare to stain his glory?!''

The Principal took a piece of paper and looked at it.

The students in the Hall concentrated with bloodshot eyes.

From the Secondary Middle School seats, a certain young woman stood up in hurry with huge blush.

With quick steps she reached the stage, and instead of standing next to the Principal, she stood next to Ichiro with a huge smile.
