I remember reading this novel when it only had like 300 chapters and holy cr*p it has 5k+ chapters now, not sure if I should start or wait till it finishes at 6k which is right there. Edit: I did some quick math and 3 chapters a day, it will take about 257 days for this to finish translating, I guess I will wait
After going through 6k chapters of the novel, even going to mtl to read the end, I can only say that... the manhua is better. Yes the novel has more details but those "details" are basically just the author milking the novel as much as possible to increase chapters. There are plenty of chapters where it's just too obvious and we all know it's just a bad excuse to use 10 chapters of people underestimating Yang Kai. If this happened once or twice then fine, but it happens every 30 chapters. It gets repetitive and the flags are simply too obvious. The best example is hiding strength for absolutely no reason just so that people will underestimate him and we waste 10 chapters again. Yes, this happens for 6k chapters, and it happens with every single one of his skills, with no exception. The worst part is that all this literally doesn't give any benefits to him, it just looks dumb. It's also why the manhua is better than the novel in many cases, because they cut a lot of this b*llsh*t.
