Li Yi was just done with a city-patrolling quest when he saw this at the entrance of the Auction House.

This was not some sexual . ¹ In Reality, many players that wished to break Heart of the Fire’s combo record loved to recruit party members this way.

Li Yi had the intention to find someone to attempt the combo so the moment he saw this ad, he immediately PM-ed.

“5000+ combo.”

The other party was silent briefly before responding, “5000+? How many of you?”

“1.”

The other party was quiet once again without replying any further.

“?” Li Yi sent a question mark.

“For serious inquiries only. Go away, you bluff! You’re blacklisted,” The other party replied and put Li Yi in his blacklist.

Li Yi was at a loss for words.

Honestly speaking, it did not matter if he refused to believe. Sigh…

“Seeking one to fire cannon. Please PM if combo is 3000+. For serious inquiries only.”

Li Yi placed an ad at the entrance of the Auction House and headed straight to Pinnacles of the Fire.

“Any time to clear Heart of the Fire? Please reply if available.”

Two of them replied the fastest.

Li Yi was momentarily stunned before adding them to the party.

Both of them were Fire Ice and Moonlight Ocean.

“I’m leveling at Fire Nest.”

“I really can’t find the time, I’m really sorry about that,” Old Li Flying Dagger replied.

As the current No. 1 of the ranking board, Old Li Flying Dagger really lived up to the name of leveling freak. His current level has surpassed Li Yi to a staggering Level 21.

Old Li Flying Dagger did not have the time, neither were Holy Pure Eh’s Knights. It could not be helped. It was officially clearing path season. Large guilds and even small guilds moved collectively. With their schedules packed, there was absolutely no time to clear 5-persons Instance Dungeons.

Moonlight Ocean was the first to arrive, standing with Li Yi in front of the meeting rock and recruiting people.

“How advanced, I don’t need to run around myself,” Fire Ice was as curious as a fish as she rounded the meeting rock.

Chen Yang was not online. The party currently required another two players. Just as Li Yi was trying to make up his mind whether to add a random player, he received a PM from a stranger.

Her friend was older but no more than sixteen years of age. Her appearance was similar to hers. Her name was Qingshui Wutong.

“Can you really hit 5000+ combo?” Zimu Wutong stared at Li Yi and called his statement into question.

Li Yi helplessly answered, “There’s no point speaking more about it. You’ll know once we enter.”

“Okay, as long as you can hit 2000+ but if you can’t, humph, I will spam you for ten days, uh no, fifteen days in major cities.”

Li Yi smiled, “It doesn’t even matter if it’s twenty-five days.”

While they were deep in conversation, the five arrived at the entrance of Fire of the Heart Instance Dungeon.

“I’ll simply distribute the tasks. Moonlight Ocean, Ice, and Qingshui, you’re in charge of transporting the cannon balls while Zimu Wutong and I will be guarding at the side and firing cannons.”

“No questions? Alright, let’s enter.”

Just as Li Yi was about to set foot into the Instance Dungeon, he stopped.

He saw two familiar figures.

Mad Dragon and Infinite Insanity!

These two were not famous in the present, but in the future not too long later, their names would be known everywhere as Mad God, Castellan of Shattered Frost City and Insane Sage, Overlord of Battle Wind Fortress!

Li Yi was not excited over seeing celebrities of his past lives but rather, he was curious about Platinum Hand, the organization Mad God and Insane Sage currently belonged to.

Platinum Hand was disbanded over unknown reasons. Mad God and Insane Sage were both respectively recruited by other guilds. If it were not because they were angered by Ye Yingbing being hunted down, no one would have known they were both from Platinum Hand, the legendary organization.

At the later stages of the game, Mad God and Insane Sage became sworn enemies, erupting battles, taking turns in ambushing, laying siege battles, racial battles. It was as though if the other was not defeated, they would not stop… That huge grudge could not be comprehended by outsiders.

The grudge between the two remained a mystery until the Ye Yingbing matter arose that everyone had a glimpse of a clue. Everyone still did not have a grasp on the reason why the relationship between the two legendary characters came to this stage. It was a shame they remained mum and turned a deaf ear while facing with the public’s assumptions.

Mad Dragon and Infinite Insanity walked into the Instance Dungeon with chatter and laughter, joining them were another three.

They must be from Platinum Hand. One by one, Li Yi memorized their facial features.

Li Yi was not the least bit happy when he lost to them by ten seconds the last time. This time, seeing Platinum Hand entering the same Instance Dungeon reeled out his competitiveness.

Moonlight Ocean transported cannon balls in extreme velocity. Although the Thief class was not good at carrying heavy loads but their agility was the highest among all classes.

“Qingshui, you’re with Zimu.”

“Ice, you’re with me.”

“Ocean, you’ll be helping both sides!”

“Bang!”

Li Yi’s cannon rumbled and the combo went straight to 265!

“Bang!”

“Bang!”

The two fired the cannon one after the other. The smooth coordination between them had Li Yi pleasantly surprised.

Zimu Wutong was not that bad!

“Not bad. Carry on and you’ll be able to keep up with big sis, me.” Zimu Wutong was satisfied with Li Yi.

Li Yi was rendered speechless…

She was only fourteen or fifteen and yet she wanted to be somebody’s big sis. She really was domineering.

But Li Yi was not in the mood to waste his breath with her. As the cannon combo grew higher so did the difficulty. One mistimed hit could lead to the disruption of this combo.

Once the combo reached 3487, Zimu Wutong became flustered and fired two cannons at random. She was at inches from breaking the combo.

Fortunately, there was a powerful cannon-shooting leader in the party. He turned to fire two cannons, continuing Zimu Wutong’s combo.

“Don’t be greedy.

“You only need to do one thing now.

“Don’t let your cannon balls come to nothing and leave the rest to me.”

“Humph, how hard can that be? Leave it to big sis, me.”

Zimu Wutong whipped her twintails and blew at the Fire Dwarfs army.

“Bang!”

“Wham!”

The cannonball was an accurate hit but the barbette overheated from continuous use and expanded before exploding.

Zimu Wutong and Qingshui Wutong exploded into the air.
