The Growing Brain started to panic because it couldn't take this monster down on its own. Its cerebral cortex reddened, with steam rising from the top.

Pang! The brain of the Green Plague Queen Bug was swollen with pain. In its consciousness, countless illusions appeared, entangling with each other, but the endings all led to death.

The Growing Brain looked bizarre when wearing the cotton candy coat. However, it was no longer too creepy to be seen. In fact, it looked kind of adorable. It even looked like a tiny white cloud floating in the sky from afar.

The tiny white cloud was flying, circling around the streets and alleys in Hanzhong City. It used its Psychic power to kill off the lower-tier infectees and Green Plague Bug larvae.

"Mommy, there's cotton candy in the sky!" One of the kids from the bus was yelling, pointing to the sky.

"It isn't. Cotton candy can't fly in the sky. It's a cloud; only clouds fly in the sky," said the modest mother sitting beside the girl.

The girl nodded, unsure whether she understood what her mother said. She sucked on her fingers gently, her eyes shining. It seems like there's someone sitting on top of the cotton candy. I'll find a cotton candy to be my familiar one day so that when I'm hungry, I can take a bite of it.

"We're so thankful for your help, but we can't offer anything in return. If Mr. Gao is willing to invest or set up a branch in our city, we, the Hanzhong base city, will exempt your taxes, but only if you're willing to come." The suited man from the Hanzhong Base municipal government department was wearing a dazzling smile.

Back at the Southern Sky, Da Zi retrieved the small treasure box from Goldie. It opened up the box and became immersed in deep thoughts while staring at the asymmetrical golden red crystal.

It had bright red fur smooth like silk and eyes the size of almonds. Both its hands were clasped in front of its body while it squatted beneath Gao Peng.

"What's wrong, Xiao Hua? You don't like what you've been eating recently?" Gao Peng patted Xiao Hua's head. Though it wasn't anyone's monster in the mansion, it was Dumby's daughter. It always stayed up in the tree house, seldom making any contact with others, but everyone still loved the little thing.

Xiao Hua shook its head and opened its mouth to speak, but only elicited a sharp cry. It was upset, probably because of its own voice, as its eyes shined with a sense of loss. However, it still mustered up the courage to speak again, this time a bit more gently. "Daddy, where is Daddy?"

Xiao Hua learned how to speak?

Gao Peng didn't pay much attention to Xiao Hua, which was why he was unsure when Xiao Hua had started speaking in human language.

Gao Peng had no idea how to answer the question, so after some consideration, he said in a soft voice, "Your daddy is temporarily somewhere far away."
