The Goddess Stone howled and charged towards Da Zi. It reached out and took hold of its head, viciously forcing it towards the ground.

The terrifying force pressing down on Da Zi’s head caused it to scream in fear, both of its front claws hooking into the ground to support itself, causing it to be unable to retaliate. Its neck and body had been contorted at an unnatural angle, and if it hadn’t been Legendary-grade, its skull would already have been ripped off.

The white leather-bound book in the Goddess Stone’s left hand glowed with blinding brightness. The moment it flipped open, it attempted to smash it on Da Zi’s head.

It landed mercilessly on Da Zi. The white light glowed even brighter, completely encasing Da Zi in it.

“Sh*t!” In fear, Da Zi realized that it could no longer manipulate the force of the Lightning Element. It could clearly sense the elements floating in the air, but it couldn’t seem to control them. It was as if there was an unseen barrier preventing him from doing so.

Flamy flew towards them, its sharp screech piercing through the Goddess Stone’s head. It halted in its tracks, and its body trembled. Within this short interval, Goldie leaped up and struck its forehead with its foot.

The Goddess Stone’s actions slowed, its head arching backward from Goldie’s kick. Despite that, its forehead was still smooth and shiny, and it seemed that the kick had caused no visible harm. It turned away from Da Zi and instead stared coldly at Flamy.

Gao Peng noticed that the words (Sealing in Process) had appeared in Da Zi’s status.

Witnessing the power the Goddess Stone had inherited from the Dragon Slaying Chapter, he had no choice but to admit that he was impressed. That ferocious power most likely stemmed from the Secret Dragonslayer Mark. This characteristic would have dampened the power of any Dragon-type who faced the Goddess Stone, and done worse still for those who had a lower level than it, as the manipulation of their Elemental Force would be sealed—it would have been equivalent to imposing a ban on powers.

Da Zi was bucking its head, desperately trying to back away. It realized, frightened, that its own power was gushing out like a broken dam. Suddenly, the Goddess Stone formed a fist with its right hand and threw a mighty punch. In a trance, Gao Peng felt like he was watching a mountain crash onto a battlefield.

Boom! Dumby charged forward, shielding Goldie with its left arm. A sonorous clashing sound resounded through the air.

“Goldie, come back now,” Gao Peng urged Goldie hurriedly.

If Goldie had continued to stand where it was, he was scared that it would have died from a single punch.

Goldie and the Goddess Stone were at the same grade—Legendary—but in terms of monster level, Goldie was far behind the stone. The fact that Goldie’s level was inferior to the stone’s was important.

If the difference in level had occurred between monsters in the same tier, it would have been fairly negligible, but if the difference was the tier, then it would make a significant impact on battle performance.

Flamy flew in from the side, spewing green flames from its beak. The green flames burned in the air, washing everything an eerie green. Surprisingly, the flames were kind of pleasant to watch, giving off a feeling of joy and vitality, as it was resplendent with the force of life.

The Wooden Heart Flames were a crystallization of the powerful force of vitality. The jade-colored flames ignited the Goddess Stone, greedily attempting to sap its life force as fuel.

However, the flames extinguished as soon as they touched the Goddess Stone. The statue’s body was made out of stone, and none of its essence had leaked yet, which was why the flame had failed to flare up on her.

“Bi Yuan, give me a mouthful of spit, now!” Goldie hollered at Flamy.

Flamy did a double take before twirling in the air and flying to a stop above Goldie’s head. “Are you talking to me?” Its tone was full of disbelief.

“Yes, I’m talking to you, Bi Yuan!” Goldie nodded with the utmost certainty.

“I’m Bi Fang!” Flamy furiously spewed a fireball at Goldie.

Boom! The ball of fire exploded on Goldie, flames immediately consuming it.

Goldie clenched both its fists tightly and stared wordlessly at the Goddess Stone. The flames were flaring around it as if it was a… yellow roasted duck that had risen from the flames.

Stripey stood up, the dark clouds of disaster above it plummeting towards the ground. The burning flames falling with it were like meteors hurtling onto the earth.

The area where the Goddess Stone was standing was showered by fire meteors, followed by a shattering quake. Each of the meteors had left huge craters in the ground.

The elemental power commanded by monsters was a type of mystical force. As a monster moved up in tier, its elemental power would increase. However, more often than not, the increase in power was more dangerous to the monster itself than the environment that it was living in. Luckily, the basement that functioned as a makeshift imprisonment dungeon wasn’t right next to the mansion, or just the aftershocks of the battle would have leveled the mansion.

Dumby was on the offensive throughout the battle against the Goddess Stone, as both of their fighting techniques were combat-based. The fight between the familiar and the monster was a sight to behold, light flashing off of their figures as they clashed and exchanged blows.

Bang, bang, bang, bang! The clashing sounds echoed in the air nonstop.

Gales of wind tore the ground apart along the way. The stones on the ground were all turned into dust, disintegrating into the air as the wind blew by.

All of a sudden, the Goddess Stone pulled back and crouched down with its legs half bent, its arms forming an ‘X’ in front of its chest to protect itself. Its shoulders, its back, and both its arms were cracked, and tiny holes were peppered all around its body.

Some of the cracks were because of Dumby’s punches, while the holes were the result of Dumby’s sharp claws. Although Dumby was only Legendary-grade, it was exactly four levels above the Goddess Stone.

“Go.” The statue pounded its fists, and its body blurred. The next second, two of its identical doppelgangers appeared to its left and right. Judging from their appearances, the doppelgangers and the main body were indistinguishable.

Dumby’s face was stoic. Strength in numbers?

Just as it was considering summoning its ghoul subordinates for backup, Stripey, who was standing off to the side, proclaimed in a low voice, “Let me.” Stripey stood up and started to regain its size, then it fell forwards.

At the last moment, Dumby transformed into the Yin Soul Dominator. With its immense Soul Power, it successfully pinned the Goddess Stone in place, and as it turned rigid, it could only look on helplessly when Stripey’s huge bottom fell on it like a mountain.

BOOM! Everything shook.

Tong Xiang and Tong Ling, who were imprisoned, could feel the tremendous quake beneath their feet. The entire villa shook. On a table, the water in a glass spilled out.

After a moment, the dust settled and silence was restored.

Gao Peng had the sudden realization that even if monsters shared the same grade, there were still differences between them. Some of the monsters excelled in a particular field but were also naturally restricted in others.

Stripey had a high combat capability and was good in defense, but Gao Peng still believed that its greatest strength was its size. It was just way too large. Nevertheless, despite having a gargantuan body that made it hard for Stripey to move around, it had gained a unique ability for itself.

This type of ability was extremely frightening when it came into play in a situation where it could be fully utilized. With its unnaturally titanic size, it could have obliterated most of its opponents just by relying on its bare hands and body.

Just like what was happening right now. Even though the Goddess Stone was still alive, it was pinned, motionless, under the mountain that was Stripey.
