Summary

Zorian is a teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, attending his third year of education at Cyoria’s magical academy.

He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, he has no time for pointless distractions or paying attention to other people’s problems.

As it happens, time is something he is about to get plenty of. On the eve of the Cyoria’s annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria.

Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn’t been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere…

Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again — in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn’t safe from those who wish him ill.

No, this is not that kind of novel. This is strongly grounded to reality and he does become very strong and capable mage at the end.

So far it really good and not as small as you may think. Each chapter about 10 on average for other novels. So for like SS… be like reading 400-500 chapters

I am currently about 80% of the way through with this novel and all the plot points are phenomenally developed. I do have one major issue with this story though. The mc dies some gruesome deaths and his entire predicament would put many people in despair but he faces everything without issue. I am not saying I want the mc to willow in self pity all I’m saying is I find the mc hard to relate to if he doesn’t fall into despair a little bit. ( Oh I just saw everyone dear to me including my family die a Gruesome death… On to the next run!) It’s to the point where I can’t relate to the mc at all but I will come back to this novel when I am in the mood

well to be honest if hes able to redo things. Then naturally he has a certain detachment. Its like the things he experienced are not quite real.

Glad to hear he’s doesn’t dwell is depression or self pity. I hate MCs that just cry non stop. I have no idea what this novel is about except maybe time travel… so if he knows he can travel back in time… it might be a reason he doesn’t get depressed.

10 normal chapter lengths = 1 chapter length of this novel

Oooooh ok so it’s like an actual normal book chapter not like the equivalence of 2-3 pages

note to self: don't let the positive reviews fool you again. This novel have everything you hate. You couldn't even finish the 3rd chapter before you broke down.

It's simple: everything! but to be more precise, it is especially the interactions of literally all the characters towards the MC which are simply unbearable. And then when the MC decides to go save the damsel in distress in ch.3, I abandoned this novel without a second thought.

Give it a try again. Although MC is a bit unbearable at first, it becomes good after MC starts becoming capable.

This is an absolute masterpiece! The magic system is well thought out and interesting, the plot is exciting with lots of unexpected twists and there is a lot of worldbuilding and character development. Although there are not that many chapters, each one is very long, so that is fine, although I would have liked them to be a bit shorter. If I have to name something bad, it is that the foreshadowing is a bit too obvious. 10/10
