Overall, the stories are extensive, and the lore is really deep, for those who like this sort of stuff; Great, you'll like this novel. However, for those less enthusiastic about spending at least 20+ hours on this novel, which you will most likely never get back, try the manga, you might like it. (This is from personal experience, your results may differ) One of the major things that either makes it or breaks it for most readers of this novel is the sheer amount of characters, abilities, lore, locations, relationships, etc. It's to be expected from a 1700+ Chapter novel but this takes it to another level. Again, you might like a deep and compelling world, good for you. But for the majority of us, after you pass the 1000-ish chapter mark, it's hard to remember all the names, especially because while there is a wiki, the documentation barely covers anything past the 400 chapters mark (idk, haven't checked in a while). WARNING: If you do start reading this, and finish a good portion, DO NOT DROP IT, you WILL forget the character names, relationships, positions, roles, abilities, lore, and IT WILL BE *EXTREMELY* CONFUSING in the later chapters.

It is truly a great novel. The characters are diverse and memorable in their own way, they aren't too deep or perfectly fleshed out, but they all serve their own purpose. At times the world might not make sense, but it is truly well intertwined. As cultivators would say, we are but frogs at the bottom of a well, thinking that the small sky above us is all there is. The plot is complex, to say the least, but the more you read the more you understand. My only complaint would be the grammar that suffered due to the translation, the translation is not consistent, but this issue can be easily overlooked when taking into account the rest of this novel. An aspect that is often overlooked and that I found myself appreciating more and more, was the buildup. While reading, I couldn't escape from this feeling of tension, the further I delved, the more I felt the end approaching, one step at a time. It was difficult to read when I knew that it would eventually end, I am both happy and sad that I've completed it. Some fellow readers have complained about the "rushed" and "unsatisfying" ending, saying that the origins are still unclear. However this is false, if they actually read the novel, they would discover that the main character's origins are revealed and that all other main story points are wrapped up. Except the main character's relation to Earth. Nevertheless, there is a cliffhanger at the end. It does leave the reader a bit unsatisfied but it also leaves room for interpretation and a possible continuation. I really hope you will give this a try, it might not be for you, but I really wish you can enjoy this journey as much as I did. Thank you

Is incredible, and much better than a lot of novels that are usually above this one, (this one one of the first novels that made popular the topic of character being really op at the beginning)

Look this is a really good story that I binged in like, a month, Its got freaking amazing characters a compeling plot and story, and a good World building and exploration, What p*ss*s me off is that the Author just ended the series in a weird sort of cliffhanger/Continuation set up to follow after the main story is done with Yuan'er and the second line of the poem, Like one of those early 2000's movies that tried to end on a cliff with the hopes of becoming a franchise? Thats exactly how it feels ans it p*ss*s me off because there is no continuantion, apart from that incredible story

Plot: 4/5 The plot stands out within the cultivation genre, focusing on the protagonist as a master of disciples who are considered villains. The story expertly weaves traditional cultivation themes with moral dilemmas, creating a fresh and engaging narrative. While certain tropes familiar to the genre are still present, they're handled excitingly. Characters: 4/5 The characters are one of the more compelling aspects of this novel. The protagonist, Lu Zhou, is well-drawn, and his development as a master is intriguing. The disciples portrayed as villains, add depth and complexity to the narrative. However, some secondary characters might feel a bit one-dimensional. World-Building: 4/5 The world-building is well-executed, with a rich and detailed cultivation universe. Adding moral ambiguity within the martial world adds layers to the setting, making it more immersive. Readers who enjoy deep and intricate fictional worlds will find plenty to appreciate here. Writing Style: 3/5 The writing style is functional and serves the story well, but it may not be exceptional. There may be moments when the narrative feels bogged down by exposition, or the language might feel stiff. However, these issues don't significantly detract from the overall reading experience. Pacing: 3. 5/5 The novel's pacing is generally good, balancing action, character development, and world-building. Some sections might feel a bit slow or repetitive, but they are typically offset by moments of excitement and tension. Originality: 4. 5/5 Perhaps the novel's most vital point is its originality. Focusing on the unconventional master-disciple relationship and the moral complexity of labeling characters as "villains" offers a fresh take on the well-trodden cultivation genre. Overall: 4. /5 Its unique premise and thoughtful exploration of morality within a martial arts context set it apart from similar works. While there may be minor character depth and writing style issues, these don't overshadow the novel's strengths. If you're looking for a book that offers something different within the cultivation landscape, this might be a worthy addition to your reading list.

A good cultivation system. However many of the lower realms feel redundant. Focus on avatars and staying in one realm for long periods. Often cleaning up messes of his disciples or previous life/body. Over all good but repetitive at times.

"sigh " Bad ending first of all and most of the story is just revolving around him catching up his runaway disciples and then escaping like they've gotten luck of God of fortune himself. It gets repetitive and has lot's of info dumps . Oh yeah the writing style of author is pretty slow it takes so much time to read . So, yeah that was what I think I don't think I can recommend this book but if you're looking for some reincarnation, system and arrogant MC this book is for you .

I've finished reading this a few months ago and it's actually pretty decent. I think the mystery aspect of the novel is good. Many parts of the novel world and the MC's identity has been written quite well, although I do feel like some questions were left unanswered. I'm really glad there was no romance or harem. I don't think it would have fit with the setting. I like the MC's personality too. He's not sacrificial or a hero in any way, and he's selfish and arrogant. He's fine with killing people who get in his way, and although it's quite cruel, I think it fits his overall identity and persona well. There are places where his arrogance irritates me though :/ I love the disciples. At first they annoyed me, but eventually I came to really like them. 4. 5/5

This novel was pretty interesting in the beginning while they were in the golden lotus domain. As they kept moving between domains, the quality of the story began to drop more and more. The way MC handled his fights became kinda repetitive too. Overall, it's not a bad read and it had many funny moments but it's nothing spectacular either. Also the ending was trash, if it can even be called an ending. It felt more like the author was still in the middle of writing the story and then was spirited away by extraterrestrials. It was that sudden; left me completely disappointed. Read at your risk since you've been warned the story doesn't get wrapped up.

Well an mc with a system can hardly fail. This novel proved it again. An extremely funny novel with a cunning mc who can bullshit his way to victory.
