This feels like a very inferior version to the "warlock of the magus world" novel, most of the characters are forgettable, the world building is massy, the power system is all over the place and most of the fights are boring, but the worst part is the MC simply because he is stupid but the author is always trying to portray him as smart, calculating, and methodical.

Amazing protagonist, amazing side characters and amazing plot. The only downside of the novel I can even think about is that the translation randomly just gets worse at some point, and that the translation is too short, forcing people to read mtl if they want to satiate their cravings. . .

I really loved this story so far. The mc is really a breatch of fresh air. The story isn't rushed if you ignore the crazy power up at the beginng. The world building is good. The fights are really enjoyable and I devoured the story in two days. The leveling system isn't really explained, but i think it's a bit like every time they are pushed to their limit or discover sth important hey level up. It is for you if you like evil mcs, but sadly the trandlation was dropped. Also keep in mind, that I really enjoy evil mcs and can ignore a lot for the sake of enjoying their story.

After reading 50 chapters, i recognized that this novel was severely lacking in multiple aspects. The leveling system was hardly explained besides the basic outline, and the actual world building, while good, wasn’t explained enough, leaving a fairly shallow setting. His inheritance wasn’t explained besides naming a few spells, which leaves excuses for the author to come up with spells later on in the story. This aspect becomes prevalent in the story, where the full contents of something is not explained fully, giving the author BS reasons for pulling something out of his arse. When compared to a novel like Warlock of the Magus World, it falls short. That doesn’t mean I dislike the novel. The battle scenes were enjoyable, and the MC’s personality, while not unique, was interesting. I just wished the author put a bit more time in building the foundation of his story, rather than just rushing headfirst into this ‘adventure’.

Very much similar to WMW. Good story with selfish protagonist. World is based on magic and system is similar to chip of Leylin. World setting is similar to WMW.
