Nurturing the Hero to Avoid Death

It's a decent novel that started out great. However, the more I progress to the story, the more unbearable this novel becomes. How come someone (MC) who had already graduated university be this naive? He acts and thinks like a middle schooler, to be honest. Furthermore, the MC has too many unnecessary internal dialogue. The writing style doesn't suit my taste. Anyway, the MC was shown to be someone good with swords at the beginning that even ML took time to defeat him, but this strenght is irrelevant because he started relying more to the ML. He's literally a cannon fodder in his own story. Not only that, he was physically weak despite training for years, how is that possible? Author must have done it that way because they wanted the bottom's body to be fair and skinny. The sm*t felt a little forced to me. I was uncomfortable reading that part that I had to skip everything. Most of all, I f***ing hate the brother. Brother complex? Fine, I'm used to that. But brother complex that noosebleed at the thought of his brother? Even imagining all sorts of perverted things? Yeah, no. That's disgusting. Even MC's grandpa is giving me the red flags. It such a shame because it contain genres I like (fantasy, action, bl, isekai) but turns out to be everything I hate (naive MC, no personality ML, cliché route, disgusting and creepy perverts).

It is good for you who like not-so-heavy story but still heartwarming. The plot is quite simple but it still unpredictable. The slowgrowth interaction between the main character really makes the story more enjoyable. Except for the ending that is a bit rushed, everything is recommendable.

Quite a short story. The scope of the story is also very limited, just to the beginning village with the demon horde disaster event as the finale of the novel. Major focus is on Lian and Alfred's relationship, their moments, emotions, coming to trust each other, the amazing plethora of characters etc. Lian is super kind, nice, very very shy, has low self confidence. Al is mostly unmotivated and looks blank but he's very hard working and kind too. And he loves loves loves Lian. They're so sweet Cute, fluffy, with mild conflicts/scenarios popping up, a bit of sm*t. Translation super slow tho. That's it, good novel. Peace.

I started it without much expectations but it surprised me, the story isn't great or anything but it's cute, though I'm not used to reading bl but I found the relationship between the couple quite interesting

I read this blindly a while ago, not knowing this was a relationship between men, but I read on. The beginning was decent, but it went downhill later on. His abilities were nerfed for the romance aspect, and later, the main character becomes a reverse damsel in distress, relying on the male lead to save him in all aspects. Additionally, the smut felt forced upon you; it just felt like the author wanted an intimate scene to happen, so he created a random cliche scenario. While all the side characters feel one-dimensional, and you don't connect to them or feel that much except for their entitled role.

Seems to be missing chapters here and there. Story is alright. Definitely thought Lain would be better considering he was way older but he seemed to become more childlike as the story went on. Not a bad read though.

Very cute story. Slowly turning into tsundereXslightly yandere. Dude gets isekaied as a villain that must bully the hero into becoming strong. Cute romance follows.

so good :(( i really really like this story, there's this new feeling you can found here. and i love the interaction Lian and Alfred had.

this is worth it guys! read it! i promise you that even though our baby Lian is always crying and acting like a kid (why not, he's my baby) you will find yourselves loving him and symphatizing with him. totally worth it.

I really like this novel i wish it had more chapters thanks uploader, the romance scenes are chefs kiss. I've rarely seen reincarnation bl stories before but I hope they make this into a webtoon or manhwa~
