This. . . This is just perfect. Whether it's comedy or action, it's just perfect. I don't want to spoil anything, so just trust me and read it, you're going to love it.
Lovee!! This novel had me addicted, hooked, crying, dying from laughter and tensed. It's been a while since I've been obssessed w a novel like this. The mc is amazing, the side characters (namely a certain fruit loving captain) even better and the plot gets better and better over time. The characters acc develop, they're real and if there wasn't the stupid harem and forced romance this novel would be god tier honestly
one of best novel of ergen. good character development and an excellent world building. it is the only novel that i cant stack. i hate those novel with stupid mc, but xu qing is the best
Very good cultivation novel The mc grew up in a very harsh environment so he has a good personality He keeps his grudges and favours seperate This novel has a character named Captain and he and mc are the best duo I have ever seen in a cultivation novel The concept of gods and divine is very good The only lacking thing is the character of females , all ergen novels lack in this aspect
Fun story love the character progression. Has some of the best side characters of any novel I have read on the site Can't wait to see how it ends
Greatest side characters Great climaxes Great character growth Great worldbuilding Good powers Okay translation Almost at the level of RI, equal if not better than lotm
This review is to clear up doubts, doubts of those who are not lovers or fans of cultivation novels. First of all, we must begin by introducing the author, someone who does not have very bad novels, within his genre (culture) he is a genius and is very good at it. Leaving that aside, I would like to talk about this work, Out of Time is a very good novel, the author puts care and dedication into each sentence as he describes everything in a theatrical and captivating way, The fights are incredible and the plot is good. , it's not a big deal like some works, but for the genre it's very good. Now, the only thing I don't like about "er gen" novels, and you probably won't like it either if, as I said before, you're not a fan of cultivation, is the time between exciting peaks. By this I mean moments that excite, "er gen" novels have the format of accumulation and then reward, first comes the accumulation of experience, events, challenges and tragedies, then comes the reward or "great power op" after what was suffered. Sometimes they are long and other times short, generally they are long, this is not bad, but sometimes those sections are boring and make many people leave the novel, if you hate these sections, you probably should not read this novel. I read several cultivation novels and it is something I accept, since in the end the "cultivation" genre is a genre that requires patience and perseverance, since the novel will always be long, very long, therefore, the format mentioned above is necessary
The most underrated novel on this site without a DOUBT. Sh*t has a great mc, immaculate side characters(shoutout Captain), very good world building, an interesting take on the cultivation power system. The mc has his own cheats yet they don’t change too much of the novel. IMO it should at least be top 10 on this site if not higher. The author clearly tried something new and it f*ck*ng worked. Sh*ts amazing. My crazy take is that it’s comparable to RI and LOTM…
Er Gen’s greatest novel. You could clearly see that he was challenged to combine the best aspects of his past novels into this one. The MC is unique and stands out from the other MC’s. The best part of this is the palpable inspiration from Reverend Insanity and Lord of the Mysteries. People keep saying those were peak so er gen decided he’ll make his own peak too. What were inspire from those? Well first of all the climaxes of the story and build up are reminiscent from Reverend Insanity. The sheer excitement and payoff is immense just like when Fang Yuan became immortal. Although it is a bit slower paced and moderate unlike when Fang Yuan reaches the heaven in one step. There are also similarities like Xu Qing being able to reverse time - Spring autumn cicada. What he took from Lord of the Mysteries was great too. The mysteries from the forbidden zones captures the essence of Kleins adventure, sometimes even better. Well this is better cause this is Xianxia and I like the mysteries here even better. The only shortcoming - well it’s not a shortcoming in my book but to other people it maybe is that the threads isnt limited to one story so all the storylines dont align to one big one. Earth is basically a single ismall island to this world so the mysteries are much more bigger so it is more numerous and distinct from one another. So why 3 stars? Cause the translation is basically mtl. China is using a loophole because they are not stealing deathblades translation so they could sell a watered down version and steal from er gen. Now those could be a factor but this story is almost lifeless without deathblade. Er gen is doing so much heavy lifting creating this MASTERPIECE i cant wait to see it properly translated.
This martial arts web novel is a standout, featuring exceptional storytelling and compelling side characters. Unlike some novels, the characters are well-developed and don't vanish without a trace, contributing to a cohesive plot. The protagonist's growth is one of the best aspects, adding depth to the overall narrative. Overall, it's a captivating read with a well-crafted story and characters that leave a lasting impression
First and foremost er gen didn’t get inspired from reverend insanity…..reverend insanity author got inspired from renegade immortal which has back in 2009 . heck er gen and he are colleagues for a while . Please do your research before you speak
If it's a masterpiece, why'd you give it a 3/5?
