    MASSIVE SPOILERS Ngl im around 500 chaps and i literally can't continue reading this after i learned the mc dies at the end of the story even if some people say he shows up in issth that's still a tragic ending and you are wasting 1400 chaps.If you wanna see an mc that struggles for the whole novel and then "dies" at the end of it go ahead but im gonna have to pass

        In the pott yes he is physically dead but he already transcended life and death boundaries so he is very much alive, we also see him in the awwp and he is already beyond 10th step.

    I'm at 278 and this romance b*llsh*t is unbearable I feel the people in the comment section of the chapter. Bro can write good stories but when it comes to romance it sucks. and I was promised a guy who was like the devil and pure evil in the prologue where the f*ck is he ah my brain hurts reading this sh*t

    how can anyone read beyond ch 172? i cannot believe this monstrosity was considered better than renegade immortal, no matter how "good" this gets later on, mc's decision in ch 172 f*ck*d all the previous development, plot, point of the novel, whole "truth" and sh*t, im dropping now and preferably will never reread in the future. till 170 this book is 7-8/10, at 172 it dropped below 5 for me

      Young man you don't badmouth the masterpiece. Young people these days, reading ss, LOTM , ri and then coming here and calling this trash😒😂 Seriously, I don't know what decision you are talking about but considering what I remember about su ming, maybe there was something behind his decision. Anyways it really gets better as it progresses and I don't think people consider this better than ri, it's just that some prefer this type of setting (more dark)

        d*mn you must be pretty retarded by now, the whole series involving the great ruler contain the most average cultivation novels with the most insufferable cliches imaginable. then there's AWE, top tier providence which are the epitome of junk food, reading just to turn off your brain, and you consider them top 10? issth, with all due respect was mid. even tho i completed coiling dragon, the plot, events, power system were all predictable, not very unique. don't even talk about "true martial world". this is the most retarded list i've ever seen, where did you get the confidence to judge anybody's taste? i've already tried all of these novels, half of the novels from this list follow the same plot, same cliches, and almost the same development, and this is the best you've read? (i've been reading cultivation for 5 years and almost got a heart attack seeing your list. please hesitate or maybe issue a warning before you text)

        That's not my top ten list. That's all cultivation novels I have read or remember Top tier providence is actually good. The mc is cunning, it has various significant characters so are many insignificant. ISSTH is actually good just not serious kind like other 2. TGR is bad I agree but it has nice adaptation which makes it bearable CD is good. How is power system predictable. I literally haven't read single novel which has similar power system of tags or whatever it is called. And I wasn't criticizing you rather joking.

        i apologize, i misunderstood your comment. if you like cultivation with smart mc's i'd recommend - tales of herding gods - apocalypse of all races - the mirror legacy (smart side characters) - perfect world (can be frustrating at times but it's worth it if you continue) - journey of fate destroying emperor - longevity simulation (smart mc) - star odyssey (read it a long time ago, forgot most of it but it was great) - outside of time (in terms of quality, best er gen novel) - mysteries of immortal puppet master - my divine diary (contains some cultivation) - aspiring to the immortal path (just read the first hundred chapters and decide) - world's apocalypse online (read manhwa first then read the novel) - i am loaded with passive skills (don't mind the title, just read a few chs) - stargate (same universe as apocalypse of all races, btw mc is a researcher) this is what i recall rn, there are many more.. and sorry for the misunderstanding bro.

        Didn’t Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor have such an utterly bad translation? Or maybe it’s an original with problematic grammar and general language issues. Did any novel stand out for its quality of writing/translation? Because I’ve had it with those garbage translations. I’ve even started feeding them to an AI to have it proofread that cr*p, but that always takes time I’d rather spend reading stuff.

      In terms of chronological order, you should read Renegade Immortal and Pursuit of the Truth first, then ISSTH.

    I'm reading all of Er Gen's novels and I finished Renegade Immortal today and I'm waiting for more chapters of Outside of Time, and I want to know if this novel has less annoying moments and brainless characters than Renegade Immortal.

      In this novel is present some young and spoiled characters that born talented and with good background, and that kind of person of course will be kinda brainless, but in that cases just makes sense and it's on a healthy level. I really recommend this novel. The MC, World and Plot are all among the best we have in cultivation novels.
