IMO compared to some of those other mid tier MMO novels such as Rebirth of the Guardian or The Great Thief, this novel has a far less of a fleshed out world but is arguably better purely in premise because of the larger amount of popular Rebirth-Game novels such as Rebirth of the Thief who Roamed the World or Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God. I enjoyed Reader much more than both of these aforementioned but I believe this has very little to do with the actual story and is more to do with that it's main premise is completely unique compared to all other game element novels.
The plot in this novel has much to be desired because the MC only cares about reading and is tossed into different situations purely to further his goal of reading more, which creates a situation where the MC always seems to be completely carried by his high stats and nothing to do with his intelligence or skill. Multiple times in this novel the MC is literally dragged around by the system missions and only realizes what's going on after reading the missions description. Also the missions themselves aren't that unique compared to what is offered in other novels which often causes me to think about how all of the trials that hold the MC up would be completely trivialized by the smarter MCs.
Overall I would only really recommend this if you can't find any other similar novels that interest you, and/or you want a novel that's extremely easy to read just to turn your brain off too. I read this novel purely because I love unique concepts in similar genres, but if you want a unique game element novel I would first start out with something like Divine Monster Transmuter or Custom Made Demon King.

I think the novel is fun.
Just that ,, the mc is a little stupid.
He dont know about something, but, he just let it go or ask his friend, check on news those players post or something, or official news. Wtheck?
He only ask the direction from the npc 2 times. For anythings other than that, he ask players? Did he think those noob player know all those things?
Why mc not ask npc? Not ask his master? He got connection but he never use it. Really stupid.
He can waste times by walking around for 7 hours. But he can't even spend 1 hour times with brinis? Waste. She cook those lunch for him , but he just ignore it? He thought it as a gift? What? And he don't want to create a misunderstanding? Huh. What a waste. He likes to read books. But he doesn't even know how to handle those things?

Heyyoo

I have to say: It is a very refreshing way of viewing a game world(?). I love how determined Soo Hyuk about his love for books. I'm anticipating The Hunter King's appearance! I'm also so very proud of Yeon Jung, do you know any better friend than him? Thank you translater Nim!

I just think I should give my review about this story. So far, about the translations, it is very good. The author gave a new life and new idea how to play the game when one is a reader. It is a unique story that focuses on the reader(obviously) and his unprecedented achievements in the game world.
