Reincarnated as a Dog with System
Chapter 92: Mana Core formation

Through the narrow entrance of the terrace, loud shrieks sounded as several goblins dashed towards the few human beings in a mad rush.

However, unfortunately for them and fortunately for the humans, only two or three were able to squeeze through the entrance at a time.

In their hurry and frenzy, even this became haphazard and four heads stuck out, while their arms and limbs were twisted in a jam.

Alex used this opportunity to directly stab the four protruding heads and the big yellow beady eyes of the goblins.

Guan Ye sliced their throats and Lu Chen shot out ice spears through the gaps, aiming for the ones behind these four goblins.

The goblins howled in pain but as blood gurgled from their mouth, they could only blankly stare and collapse on the ground.

However, the ones standing behind couldn't care less about the death of their comrades and stampeded forward stabbing their weapons left and right.

One even grabbed a corpse and tossed it randomly just so it can step forward and barge in. Blood dripped everywhere and the screeching noises became louder.

After the first four fell, the next three stepped in and this time they managed to get a couple of hits in. one of the goblins stabbed Alex's knee and the other one stabbed Luo Zu's stomach.

"Alex, are you okay? Can you continue?"

Alex gritted her teeth and nodded while finishing off the goblin that had stabbed her. Luo Zu, on the other hand, looked pale and terrified.

Lu Chen immediately pulled him back and took his spot.

He slashed at the goblin that had stabbed Luo Zu and then in the fraction of a second it took the body to fall onto the ground, he materialized a dozen ice bullets and barraged them randomly through the crowd.

Scree! Screee! Screee!

The goblins shouted and squealed in their shrill voice. They were enraged. Some of them even started banging on the wall next to the door in an attempt to break it down.

The huge sturdy cement wall trembled from the impact and it didn't look like it was going to hold on for much longer.

Lu Chen shouted in alarm. "FASTER. FASTER. LET'S MOVE FASTER. WE NEED TO CULL DOWN THEIR NUMBERS FASTER"

He then turned around and looked at the black dog with the purple eyes, Qin Hua's clone, which had been standing still for a while now.

"Little white, where are you? Get here fast." He solemnly muttered under his breath.

Every single time they had been in danger, she had silently shown up and taken care of everything, so the fact that she was not even moving now, made him worry even more.

I hope she is alright. Lu Chen gritted his teeth and summoned another dozen ice bullets shooting them towards the goblins.

However, just as he turned away, the clone that had been standing still until now, suddenly vanished into thin air altogether…

A few buildings away from the stadium… in a deserted alley...

Qin Hua was trying very hard to concentrate. She knew that she had to focus. Otherwise, it wouldn't end up good for anyone but it was still difficult to do so.

She could clearly hear the army of goblins howling loudly and she couldn't hear any sounds from her friends at all.

What the hell happened? How did everything change suddenly? She had no idea and her imagination was running to dangerous places.

The worst part was that she was completely useless right now.

Qin Hua gnashed her canines and tried her best to focus on what was happening inside of her right now.

A couple of minutes earlier, she had hunted down a pair of mutated zombies and absorbed their cores. Unexpectedly, this triggered the notifications that she had been waiting to hear.

However, it couldn't have come at a worse possible time.

<Ding. Mana in the body has saturated>

<Ding. Body has met the minimum requirements for mana condensation>

<Ding. All requirements for mana core formation have been met>

<Ding. Mana core formation is now initializing>

Before Qin Hua could completely grasp the meaning of the notifications, a tremendous pressure engulfed her out of nowhere and she found herself unable to move or even think.

Her entire body twisted and turned in pain and exactly at this moment, she had also heard the battle cries of the goblin army.

Qin Hua tried to free herself and stop the process. She could always do this later when they were in a safer place, but it did not look like she had the opportunity to do so.

For the first time, she felt the stronghold of the mysterious system on her life and on her free will. She did not like it.

Nevertheless, she tried to endure and get through it because right now she lacked the power to do anything against mere goblins, let alone against something as mysterious as the voice that sounded inside her mind.

She steeled her heart and zoned out of the terror-inducing cries of the goblins and focused on the mana flow within her body.

Pain coursed through her veins as bolts of energy surged everywhere. It was as if a million electric worms that were capable of shocking her were crawling all over her body.

And then suddenly, every bit of energy in her body moved towards her lower abdomen, like being attracted by a strange magnet.

Another intense convulsing pain shot through her spine and her lower abdomen and Qin Hua's brain blacked out entirely.

When she regained consciousness, she felt a strange warmth permeate through her body, nursing all the pain she had previously felt.

Not just that but she felt an unfamiliar throbbing inside of her, more specifically a ball of energy in her stomach.

It gave her strength, power, and the feeling that she could massacre whatever appeared in front of her.

Qin Hua flashed her eyes open. She was now able to move. She sucked in a huge breath of air and howled loudly.

Awoooo!!!

She heard a few more notifications pop up, but she didn't even bother looking at it. She stretched her limbs and bolted forward towards the army of goblins.
