This novel had great potential but it never lived up to that potential. I give this 7/10. Flaws: terrible ending, terrible real world development, Terrible character development, gets repetitive, too much cliche, etc. the ending seemed rushed, felt like the author got bored and used the npc thief as sort of the final boss. Also didnt like the fact how there wasnt any large time skips until the ending. Time skips wouldve been useful in the beginning. The real world development was good at first, thought shi feng was about to develop a relationship with his class president. However the author just develops shi fengs power and uses the “challenge your dojo” clich a bunch. The issue i have with the character development is that the author doesnt do it all. There were times i forgot blackie existed because he was never used since tier 2.

It's not some genius or a great story, it's your comfort content! You read it for the progress! And it's one of those that you skim through but once you finish you want more! Because you read too fast as you skipped more than 500 to 800 pages of word! Characters are mostly one dimensional! But it works for the story and makes it better tbh! World building is the most fascinating thing about this story as its scope is big enough in game and in real life as well! I'll give it 6.5/10 overall, it would be 7 if not for useless repetition but oh well I anyways skim through it and would suggest doing that for better experience!

If you turn your brain off and ignore the complains by the ungrateful people who don’t realize they are reading this for free, then yeah it’s a good novel

I mean the offical translator for this novel is giving all chapters except the last 10 for free so..

I don't think turning my brain off to the "ungrateful" people's mostly true opinions about the novel and having to turn my brain off to read it would make me call it a "good novel" honestly... it is indeed good that it's free, since that's the only reason I read it in the first place, probably wouldn't pay for it, much less know it existed. I would at most call this novel a time-dump... you don't exactly read it for it being a great novel or anything... there are plenty of better ones out there. I only read it cuz it has many chapters to cure my boredom, and went along with it. I did like it btw... mostly for the world building and interesting concepts. Those are the few things that kept me interested to keep reading, the story is otherwise quite brain-dead and simple.

It's sh*t also if you're planning to read this, expect that there will be lot of mocking against mc, there will be more mocking than mc having conversations with other players, author really love the word "Noob", also the face slapping are not satisfying.

Is this novel completely about a game? So will he just be powerful in the game and a normal person in real life?

Can anyone recommend a novel like his one, a video game? But it would be even better if the MC didn't go back in time or get reborn.

I have seen anime of 'kings avatar' years ago, I think that was good.

Vivid Stars Online is a great one, though not THAT similar. It focuses on a sci-fi vrmmo that's slowly revealed to be more than it seems. Though the MC in it is a Psion, and the main power growth seems to be developing in that direction, so it's not pure sci-fi.

RR is the only place I know of to find it, but it might be some other places too. It's not on this site, sadly.

I tried it, but it wasn't for me, is there not a better recommendation than that? I already read legendary mechanic tho it was literally my first read, so don't mention that

Reincarnation of the strongest sword god is... a mixed bag. It develops your usual concepts of an op mc well but it gets repetitive a lot. I feel like the author struggles to come up with new and not seen before plot lines and the story suffers from it. Sure smacking arrogant side characters are satisfying but it only takes time until you get tired of it. The world building and the side characters are whatever for me but the mc being a badass is always great to read. Overall I have to take into account that this novel is not new and most of the themes were probably really good when it came out. 3/5 (turn your brain off, just read)

My biggest issue with it is the d*mn peanut gallery... Like I really don't need to read five different people's reactions to every g*dd*mn thing the MC does -_-
