why are the reviews are so little?? there's tons of more reaction on other website. so anyways THIS NOVEL IS A MASTER PIECE.
here are sum review from other people that I personally I agree with.

This Novel is so good they had to ban it in china.(no spoilers)

Pros:
-the Mc is not Op and uses his Head
-The Best world building system.
-there are NO Contradictions.
-Characters are so intelligent.and can plot which make the story feel Alive.
-the story dosen't get boring Ever.the more you read the more you get hooked like a starved crackhead.
-the crazy amount of time and dedication for the author to make this put other novels into shame.
-This is the "solo leveling" of novels.and i don't think they will ever be a novel that beat it.

Cons:
-don't read if you're looking for a softhearted Mc. the Mc here Kill peaple like he kills bugs.
-don't expect romance.

side notes: the novel got banned in china because of the anti-system values it promotes
the raws are at 23xx chapter. the novel is expected to be unbanned this year .
*the author(Gu Zhen Ren) promised to Release the rest of the novel even if it doesn't get unbanned :)

The world building and the magic system in this novel is completely unique and unlike all the cliche shit I've seen before. The mc is super smart and rational and does everything he can to get what he wants. All the 2000+ chapters are amazing and completely worth it. Best novel in my opinion.

This is only 1 stars because I am trying to catch people’s attention. Reverend Insanity is amazing and definitely 4-5 stars, but unfortunately there seem to be some censorship issues and the source material will probably be on indefinite hiatus unless CN government decides to approve. As such, the novel won’t reach a conclusion and it will probably remain an incomplete work. Don’t start this and get attached and disappointed like myself. Alas, always the good ones :( . If we are lucky author will get approval to start writing again soon, maybe a year or 2. Fingers crossed.

I've read a lot of webnovels in the 7 years that I was introduced to the concept of webnovels. Reverend Insanity remains my on of my top favorites as the philosophical questions and answers it integrates into the cruelty and fervor of the main characters actions is beautiful. Never have I felt so invested in a stories history and background, even when compared to accomplished, published novels.

READ IT ! A very new type ans a well written story. Really awesome that the MC is a vilain, smart and extremelly manipulative. The way he thinks is just mindblwing and the plans he made are the best. My favorite arc of all the story will be when he create the very first legendary gu.

Reverend Insanity is very well written, the characters are complex, the plot is intriguing and the world building is nice. However this will not be for everyone, the MC is offputting, he is very unlikable and not very interesting. The author has the issue of telling us the MC's plans after the are needed with little foreshadowing. The MC's goal is oftentimes over skipped for long periods of time, with us learning why the MC is doing something about 20 chapters after he has set out to do it. The MC also has the habit of doing unnecessary things that just so happens to work out in the end for him that makes him seem less intelligent than he should be.
The novel also has pacing issues, with some arcs and battles taking longer than needed and dragging on.

Overall the plot is great, with some small issues that don't truely impact the story overall.

The biggest issue with getting into this will be if you are able to withstand the MC, by liking him or hating him. If you hate the MC and want to see him fall the I suggest you move on, although the story seems to hint that he will fail at the end, if you aren't enjoying the journey you won't care about the ending.

This is the best of the best. Better than top 10 novel on this site. It deserves rank 1 . U cant find any novel better than RI anywhere. After finishing 100+ chapters and i cant even continue some of my fav chinese novels .

op story that deserves a lot more attention than it is given.
I Highly recommend it if you're tired of reading the usual cocky ass op mc who gets all the girls story which in my opinion is like 95% of all chinese manhwas *_*.
this mc uses his experience,wits and skill to overcome all the hurdles he faces,he does not have any special or op godlike power but uses underhanded methods,schemes and sheer guts to try and achieve his goal of eternal life.

This is litterally god tier novel. The MC isnt a pussy ass bitch and does not has a bunch of useless annoying ass fucking bitches around him. He is ruthless and doesnt care about anyone's life or gains except his. I really recommend this novel.

Best Novel i have read so far, MC with a goal and does everything he can to achieve his goal. No cliches, No plot armors, Not the usual pussy MCs. Best Ruthless Villain MC and the best novel i have ever read! It's my daily dose of confidence drug! Read it and you won't regret it!
