Despite Xie Limo’s comforting words, Yun Bixue couldn’t calm down her heart. She started to feel uncomfortable all over, and her stomach ached.

She tried to control her emotions, but to no avail. Her body started to grow even more uncomfortable.

Yun Bixue reflexively grabbed Xie Limo’s hand tightly. “Limo, what should I do? I feel terrible!”

Xie Limo looked at Yun Bixue in such a state, and his face changed immediately. No matter how hard he tried to stay calm, he still felt flustered.

Yun Bixue took in big gulps of air as she panted. Her forehead was damp with sweat, and her face was incomparably pale.

Xie Limo felt his heart trembling. Grabbing Yun Bixue’s hands, his eyes reddened.

This was the first time Yun Bixue had seen Xie Limo at a loss of what to do. She didn’t know how to react and could merely pant loudly as she said, “Limo, why are you dazed? Quick, get a doctor.”

“Yes, yes, a doctor.”

When Xie Limo snapped out of his shock, his words were all fumbled up. He hurriedly called over the medical team on board the plane.

Yun Bixue held her stomach and cooed endlessly, “Baby, be good. Everything will be fine…”

Yun Bixue fought hard against the discomfort and gently rubbed her stomach, trying to comfort her baby who was kicking inside her.

It was as though the baby really heard her. The kicking eventually stopped.

In order to avoid being noticed, most of the medical team had put on a disguise and followed them on the other plane, so there were only two staff on this plane.

They frantically performed their emergency aid to help Yun Bixue tide over this critical period. Nevertheless, she was still in a bad shape.

Xie Limo could only order the plane to land.

“Young Master Xie, if the plane were to land now, we’ll end up in a foreign piece of land. It’ll rile up political unrest. In the worst case scenario, the plane might be shot down too.”

Xie Limo had obviously predicted such a scenario. If a foreign aircraft were to land in another country’s airport, it’ll naturally be classified as a dangerous threat.

Xie Limo contemplated and ordered, “Listen to my instructions. Land immediately.”

“Yes, sir!”

“Young Master Xie, Country M is towards the south, and Country T is towards the north. Which country’s airport shall we land?”

A glint flashed across Xie Limo’s eyes and he decided instantly, “Country M.”

“Yes, sir.”

Xie Limo instructed his men to put on their parachutes and land in Country M first to establish contact with the relevant personnel in order to ensure the plane’s safety.

After a series of tensed episodes, the plane began to descend steadily.

Xie Limo held Yun Bixue’s hands tightly and continued to watch over her with a solemn look on his face.

Yun Bixue could feel the dampness in Xie Limo’s hands caused by his sweat. She tried to smile to comfort him, but it only made her feel like crying.

Because of her, her husband had suffered. Her heart ached for him, and regardless of how much pain she was in, she still tried to bear with it.

“Xue, you must let me know if you feel even more unwell,” Xie Limo said while wiping away the sweat on Yun Bixue’s face.

“I… I’m fine… I just feel rather tired…”

As she spoke, Yun Bixue’s eyelids grew heavy. She laid down on the seat and she began to feel groggy.

“Xue, don’t sleep now. We’re landing soon, and you’ll be sent to the emergency room immediately.” Xie Limo didn’t dare to yell at her. He merely shook Yun Bixue softly and called her awake beside her ear.
