Chapter 1014: Battle of Hurricane Canyon

Though Zhong Yue had already left, his voice still echoed around in Imperial Emperor Fu Ya’s ears, which amazed the Imperial Emperor and he murmured, “His Majesty’s decision to make Mister Yi the strategist is really a wise decision!”

Right now, the Panhu Navy was doomed and it was only a matter of time until they were wiped out. Even without Zhong Yue’s help, Imperial Emperor Fu Ya was confident that he could annihilate them by himself!

Seven days later, Zhong Yue arrived at Hurricane Canyon, where Shield Wall Fortress had already engaged with the Panhu Navy for a two-day long fight.

The Hurricane Canyon had a very harsh environment, the stars in the sky were aligned oddly, making them look like a massive head with its jaw wide open from far away and the hurricane was spat out right from the mouth with star remnants dragged away towards the outside rapidly.

Beside the canyon were incredibly long star-like walls, a result of star debris ramming right into the canyons and on top of the walls were planets.

With the two walls at the side and the canyon in the middle, thus, the harsh environment.

Because of that, this place was near uninhabitable and there was barely anyone living here.

And Pan Ji chose to strike here was entirely because of the environment here; upon holding the centre ground, if the Shield Wall Fortress wished to go around the sides, they would immediately be attacked by the Panhu Navy!

Besides, a detour would take would delay them by about half a year, therefore, it would be wiser to stand their ground against the Panhu Navy and fight against them.

Unlike the Red Stars Canyon, the battle in Hurricane Canyon was different. With strong winds here, there was no way to place the Lesser Heavenly River in the canyon or it would be blown away. Thus, they built camps around, attaching the Lesser Heavenly River onto the planets above this place, siphoning energy from the planets.

The Panhu Navy had occupied the strategic location of the canyon and with that, the upper hand.

If the Shield Wall Fortress attacked, they would attack with their flying fortresses, attempting to breach through the Hurricane Canyon, the star walls, the Heavenly River and open up a path for their comrades.

However, with the star walls being made of the star remnants spat out from the head, the walls were extremely sturdy, and with every part of the Heavenly River guarded by the Panhu Navy, every factor had prevented the Shield Wall Fortress from standing their ground and board on the land. After a few ferocious battles, the Shield Wall Fortress suffered heavy casualties and was forced to the ground on the opposite.

“My ancestor said this head was an innate celestial monarch’s head.”

Yin Fukang said, “Those remnants coming out from his mouth were rumored to be the bone pieces in his body, but no one knows the truth.”

“An innate celestial monarch? Which year did an innate celestial monarch die here?” asked a confused Zhong Yue.

Yin Fukang shook, “That I do not know. However, if the head is still spitting bones, it suggests that this innate celestial monarch died not long ago.”

From far away, Zhong Yue observed the Panhu Navy’s formation and he immediately mocked, “Oh my, what a nice formation against the Shield Wall Fortress’s reinforcement but not against reinforcements for Shield Wall Fortress. They are burying themselves with this formation!”

A puzzled Yin Fukang asked, “How so? Pan Ji had occupied every factor on his side, there is no way he can be defeated easily.”

To answer his question, Zhong Yue drove the ancient ship right into the Heavenly River and charged into it with a terrifying impact that slammed the river right into Hurricane Canyon!

As the dangerous wind blew, the river vigorously shook and its front end was dragged away by the wind, toppling the warships as a result while they too, were dragged away.

When the wind raged past the ships, the many Panhu soldiers were all thrown out by the wind currents!

Just as the wind touched these soldiers, their flesh was blown away, and what remained of them were just their skeletons that flew everywhere under the wind currents!

The Heavenly River was pulled into the Hurricane Canyon, along with the planets that were attached by the Heavenly River, all rolling into the canyon with unstoppable force.

The flame on the sun’s surface was also blown away straight down into the canyon and lit up everything there, including the warships!

And the soil of the planets were being scrapped away by the wind, exposing the core quickly; these damaged cores were then blown away and they rammed around, crushing everything they touched!

This Heavenly River was a weapon created by the Panhu Clan using the true Heavenly River’s water, though it was able to be unleashed and kept away with a flick of the mind, this still required someone to be in control of the river.

Yet, Zhong Yue gave them no window to react; before Pan Ji reacted, Zhong Yue had already cut the river in half and right now, half of the river was being dragged into the canyon!

Most of Pan Ji’s warriors also fell right into the canyon, with the warships crashing into the walls, shattering into the pieces with the warriors on board.

The warships were not as sturdy as the Shield Wall Fortress, thus few warships managed to escape from the canyon in one piece.

“Father, what did I tell you?” smiled Zhong Yue as he drove the ancient ship out while staring at the hellish scene in the canyon.

Yin Fukang remained speechless meanwhile and suddenly, he stood straight up, and his body enlarged as he smiled, “Brother Pan Ji!”

“How dare a mere monarch race dare call himself a brother of our sovereign race?”

Pan Ji angrily activated the remaining half Heavenly River, his vision ignored Yin Fukang and landed straight at Zhong Yue, “King Yi, what a move! Your identity as a mere human gives you no right to speak with me. But I have to admit that I admire your skills. I assume that the other half of my army is no more as well?”

Zhong Yue nodded and calmly said, “Not just them, the Yu Lin Army is gone too. Soon, you will be joining them.”

“Go!”

On the opposite of Hurricane canyon, Imperial Emperor Duo Yin’s voice sounded, “Soldiers, trample over the canyon!”

Pan Ji’s nine eyes shrunk and he suddenly burst out laughing arrogantly, “King Yi, you’ve underestimated the power of a sovereign race! We have been around ever since the Earth Order Era, you have no idea how deep our power runs!”

His body turned into a three dragon-headed Panhu with a very long tail, intertwining around the river, and the remaining Panhu Clan’s soldiers did the same, showing their true forms, leaping to Pan Ji’s back.

Pan Ji shook the dragon scales on his body and smiled, “King Yi, I will not fight you to the death today. Once our monarch weapon arrives, we shall see who will become the victor of this war in the Heaven Suppression Fortress!”

He leaped away into the air and began to flee!

“Do you think you can run?”

Zhong Yue’s heart moved, activated the ancient ship and rammed the dragon head of the ship towards Pan Ji, who quickly leaped away and evaded the charge.

In the split second that the ship and Pan Ji crossed, Yin Fukang and the other Imperial Emperors immediately lunged towards Pan Ji while the warriors on the ship and Pan Ji’s back also exchanged attacks!

These Panhu Clan’s warriors were all powerful; their attack speed was much quicker than ordinary gods by a few times. When Zhong Yue’s soldiers launched one attack, the Panhu soldiers had already struck three times!

While the Xian Tian Royal Guards were able to control only one weapon, the Panhu soldiers were able to control three!

Pan Ji also showed the power of a sovereign race; Six Paths Reincarnation emerged behind his three heads, and at the same time, they unleashed a power that was equal to the 7 Imperial Emperors who teamed up against him!

“Panhu? Sovereign Race? Can they surpass the Fuxi Celestial Race? I think not!”

Zhong Yue’s angry roar was heard as he revealed his Fuxi True Form, human head, serpent tail and dragon scales, the thirty Secular Worlds emerged and tremendous power surged out!

His three eyes wide open, divine heart pounded rapidly, bones screamed, the innate draconic scales hummed and reflected everything they faced; immeasurable power of the Fuxi Celestial Race emerged and shown its fangs from Zhong Yue’s body!

With a roar, Zhong Yue’s innate divine saber was revealed and along with that, one of Pan Ji’s incarnations was split apart from head to toes!

Zhong Yue’s tail whipped towards another Pan Ji, sent him flying away into the air like a spinning gyro and Zhong Yue launched a lightning speed attack onto his target!

In an instant, Pan Ji’s incarnation was sliced into parts!

“Fuxi True Form?”

Pan Ji screamed in fear and he immediately tried to run away without hesitation, “King Yi, how dare you open the Fuxi True Form! You unsealed this in the unworldly world? You are already dead! Not even Imperial Emperor Xian Tian can save you now!”

The ancient ship split the dimension apart and caught up to Pan Ji in a few breaths’ time. At the same time, the Shield Wall Fortress’s army was already on Pan Ji’s tail.

Pan Ji refused to clash with Zhong Yue again, after a few exchanges he immediately ran away again while Zhong Yue, Yin Fukang and the six Yinkang Imperial Emperors shifted targets onto the soldiers standing on Pan Ji’s back; in the blink of an eye, destructive attacks landed among the Panhu soldiers, swiftly vaporizing them.

Pan Ji bit his lips as he knew after this battle, Panhu Clan would be a second Yu Lin Army and they would no longer be able to hold their position as a sovereign race anymore!

A light flashed right from his forehead, a talisman flew out and when it started burning, overwhelming monarch presence emerged, a massive eye opened up, shattering the void as if an ancient monarch descended and the destructive might gushed towards Zhong Yue and his men!

“The Fusang Divine Tree!”

Zhong Yue roared angrily, activated the tree and his men started channeling their energy into the tree with Zhong Yue.

Meanwhile, Imperial Emperor Duo Yin who saw everything had goosebumps all over and the nervous Imperial Emperor shouted right away, “Shield Wall Fortress’s warriors! Channel every energy left in you into that tree!”

Knowing this was a crucial moment where their lives were depending on that tree, the warriors immediately pouring everything left in them into the tree!
